Oh I like Reid & prob needs more touches. But he’s just kind of an ancillary player right now.

I have been ruined by this board. I read "Huge piece of" and my mind immediately filled in "shite" and I was like "hey Tari isnt a POS." before realizing I misread it.

You are replying to a post about Efton Reid and say you think he's more of a 3 and needs a 3-point shot. Am I reading that right?

i was talking about Eason, not Reid. Didnt' realize that when i replied, but my point still stands, I don't know if he's a 3 or a 4, on either side of the ball, and he isn't a good enough shooter to be a first round pick right now. He without a doubt has the potential to shoot up the draft boards if we/he keep impressing and he becomes our go to guy down the stretch of big time games with a national spotlight.

Efton without a doubt isn't getting drafted. He's got a great post game though, but his slow lateral quickness and lack of shot blocking will keep him out of the NBA. No one is throwing him the ball to go to work in the post in the nba, and that's what he excels at.
What i do wish is that we would put more of an emphasis on running the offense through him to start games until Eason/Gaines comes in. That still works in college, letting a big go to work in the post. Every game we give him the ball the first possession, same out of halftime, b/c you know Wade tells them to, but then we just stop going to him for the most part.

Is his game complete enough for this NBA? Don’t know. I do think from a shooting perspective, he will need to continue to develop a consistent outside jumper.

Eason has a really good shot at being a first round pick and sneaking into the back end of the lottery wouldn't surprise me. It will help him that this draft class has been pretty meh so far. The most glaring hole in his game is shooting, but even then there's promise of growth there as he's at 30% 3PT / 80% FT compared to 24% 3PT / 57% FT last season.

I've seen Days mentioned a few times as a 2nd rounder / UFA candidate that stands out with his versatility.

I've seen Fudge mentioned as a prospect to keep an eye on this year and next because of his defensive potential/athleticism/size/ranginess that you can't teach.

Haven't really seen any buzz on Efton Reid.

It would be more but it wouldn’t be essential. It’d make it easier to come back and improve your draft stock if you still have plenty of money to live on.
