That isn’t an explanation, it’s a totally divorced from reality excuse. Your assertion that baseball is controlled by supernatural forces is as childish as it gets.

It has been 5 years since an MLB team has come back from a larger deficit (10 runs) and that was a 5th inning comeback. The only time it has happned in 12 years - gotta go back to 2009 before that.

It is how baseball works. You have to get 27 outs. There’s no time limit.
We got 24 outs, we lost. Outs at the end of the game can be the toughest outs especially when you have used all your best pitchers.

An 8 run blown lead with 6 outs to get doesn’t shock you? You’ve been around some shitty fricking baseball then. This isn’t a “just baseball” loss and the fact you think it is is frankly hilarious

Sorry I understand the game real well. Your up 9-1 with 2 outs in the 8th and finish the inning tied. Something is wrong there. Yes you take 2 out of 3 on the road... great if you were winning and sweeping your home series. Losing the game today is t “ it’s baseball”. It’s somebody get an out. They didn’t till it was too late. Knowing a win today puts you in a better position going into the Arkansas series, going into the 8th every pitcher I have would be warming up. Short leash. Get a damn out!

This would be a bad reaction 5 games into the season. 40 games into the season it’s justified, it’s the same shite all time. Like not have guys warmed up and ready and playing the lefty matchup even when your lefty is gassed. It’s a pattern at this point.

To me the only obvious error was bringing in a guy that's been spiking breaking balls all weekend instead of putting hilliard out there
