Frick all that bullshite! I care about everything LSU. I’ll get upset if putt-putt or bowling recruiting slips. I want to win everything top to bottom.

How old are you? I was just wondering which era of basketball you grew up with. To me, there was a time it was super intense and a captivating watch but I sat at a restaurant bar the other night and had dinner with Mrs Cricket. They had an NBA game on and it was the first I had watched in awhile. It was one rushed three ball after another with stagnant offense and a generally clunky flow of play. It seems like everyone saw the Warriors win with their perimeter shooting and tried to copy it but nobody else is as good at it as they were. Maybe I just had a bad game on but it was tough to watch.

I think he really means the NBA more than college basketball. The NBA has gone left politically for sure since Covid but it's also become a pretty terrible product for the most part. Between LSU being terrible at basketball and the NBA becoming a contest of who can take the most bad 3's, I tuned out of basketball for the most part.
this is correct. The NBA is definitely woke, and is in bed with China as well.

And it's an unwatchable product on the floor. High ball screen and launching 3-pointers. Very little movement otherwise, both with the ball and off-ball.

Unfortunately too many college teams follow this model and the game is tough to watch.

Combine that with the college transfer portal with massive annual roster turnover and you have a bad situation.

I used to love basketball 25 years ago when the product on the floor was much better, but not much anymore.

It’s fun when they are good. I’m a fairweather LSU basketball fan. And the weather hasn’t been fair in awhile.

I would love a reason to care about LSU Basketball, i emotionally checked out a few years back

. I did the same thing this year with LSU Football when New Orleans Hotel man Brian Kelly was at LSU running arse instead of coaching LSU Football

Apathy is a dish best served cold. I can remember when Baton Rouge was a basketball town in the late 80’s and early 90’s. If you win they will come.

I don't follow the sport at all, if that's what you're asking.

quote:

basketball is just a woke sport that has been crammed down our throats for years just like the NBA?

this has absolutely nothing to do with it though. I'm just not a fan of basketball in general anymore like when I was younger.

Crappy basketball leaves me in an entertainment sports void between thanksgiving and valentines day, especially when the Saints, Pels, and LSU Football aren’t playoff bound.

When your team is good, it is the most action packed sport there is; you've all forgotten. Just watching Florida in spurts vs Bama last Sunday was absolutely night and day compared to the shite McMahon has put on the floor.
And as mentioned before, that Tyrus Thomas team made of BR kids that made the final four run, must fun I've had as a tiger fan in lifetime.

The nba put “black lives matter” on the floor in the bubble and baws are still more hung up on that than CHOOSE LOVE in the end zones in 2025.

I don’t watch, I don’t follow and I don’t really care if they are good or bad personally. I would like them to be successful however to help offset AD costs. I assume the more successful they are, the more profit they will turn.

As a sport I like to play basketball and to watch my kids play. Other than that I do not pay attention at all.
