Good for them. They beat USCw in a major bowl (BK would have been blown out in that game) and they are, by far, the best team in the state. They would beat LSU by 14 or more in Baton Rouge easily.

Congrats to TU on a strong season.The SEC is a meat grinder. Some of the best teams in the conference (and the country) have at least 2 losses. Think about that for a moment. Depending on how the CFP Committee decides who’s in and out of the playoffs at the end of the regular season, it could hurt really good football teams in the nation’s toughest football conference top to bottom. You may be better off being a really good football team in a less competitive P4 conference.
