and the legend of Tyler Hanover continues to grow...
By the time he is a sophomore he'll be zinging it at 110+ mph and hitting 700-foot home runs

I seen it, its got to be going about 100 mph. If you don't believe it come to the games and see him sling it for yourself.

103 mph is where i draw the line because 110 is just not believable

bullshite. If he can go from 89 as a HS SR to 103 now, he surely can increase it ONLY 7mph to 110 from FR to SO year.

Did you see it that time when he threw the ball so hard that all the leather fell off?

You are right about that, sitting at ball games you always here people commenting about pitchers throwing 93-95 when in reality they might be in the upper 80 range. Most people have no clue. If Hanover could throw anywhere near 100, any coach worth a damn would be working on pitching him.

i heard that during batting practice him and dean have home-run derbys, except that hanover doesnt use a bat, and he still wins like 3 out of 5 times.

without reading any of this, Hanover is probably around 80 throwing from 3rd to 1st

No way the guy throws 100+...if you are so sure of it go sit behind 1st when he is playing third with a radar gun. My guess is mid to high 80s. Make sure you have some witnesses too.

i kept hoping this thread would be a joke, that people realy didnt think infielders were throwing the ball around at 100mph, a number only a handul of people in the history of baseball have been able to do.,

A guy 5'6" cannot throw a 100+ mile an hour fastball off a pitchers mound, much less a one step toss from third to first. I agree he can hum the ball. Most third basemen throw the ball from third to first around 60 - 65 mph. He may be throwing around 80 mph, more likely 75 mph. The strongest arm MLB third basemen do not reach 90mph on a throw.

I've seen Hanover throw a ball straight through and aluminum bat
