Yeah looks like we doubled the ad space.

Oh man, think of all the ads they can cover that space with.

This is why I can’t bring myself to care about this. I remember being so excited about the last screen, seeing them demo it during something or another.

Then I went to the first game and the viewable area was basically exactly the same as the old screen. So fricking disappointing. Hopefully they do better this time, but I’m ignoring it until they prove they won’t make the same mistake again.

During the game the ads are up there along with the real-time gameplay. But they will use the entire viewing area to show replays throughout the game.

Pay attention next time instead of watching the boy cheerleaders.

Man, that will be one big arse Ochsner ad!
The Coca-Cola eyesore will be even bigger than that the Ochsner one.

Seriously, I HATE all permanent static ads.

Scroll the advertising during Pre-Game, breaks in game action, quarter breaks and half-time, then get ALL that shite off the board during the game.

That doesn't look any bigger than the old one.

There’s two new frames on each side and a new frame at the top of the whole thing. It’s pretty clearly bigger.

It really doesn’t matter how big the scoreboard is. LSU is going to have the score, time, down/yards to go as small as possible jammed together somewhere,

Even those fancy ribbon boards have ads on them nonstop. Maybe someday they can at least have the ads in LSU colors. Go back and look at the last TD vs bama in 2022. The ribbon boards wrapped around the stadium had red and white adds. Looks ridiculous.

The only other options are the following:
1. Lower your expectations of success.
2. Increase ticket prices.
3. Donate more money.

Where is the PVC pipe? It needs one to really bring out the quality and great craftsmanship.

I just don’t understand why LSU can’t do something to this extent. Just tear it completely down and rebuild. Nope, we have to just add on from preexisting parts to save $75k.

Donate more money and put a stipulation on your donation that LSU take those ads down.

They DID tear it down and rebuild it. If you view it from the same perspective as the AU one, they’re pretty similar. The new Auburn board, approved in February is 45’x154’ . LSUs new board will be 37’x152’, as opposed to the old one that was 28’x80’.

That is Auburn’s second jumbo screen. Their current jumbo screen is 57’x190’ 10,830 square feet which is almost double the size of LSU’s new video screen coming.

LSU’s= 5,624 square feet.

LSU’s is still small. I don’t understand the height. Wish it was 57’X152’
