There will never be another seat expansion in tiger stadium.

Wrong, we heard it during the LSU/AUB broadcast when the CBS crew was addressing the choppy field.

Turn the entire upper level into premium boxes along with adding an upper north end zone level. Then reconfigure the lower level to be all seat back seating. This might reduce total capacity slightly but will certainly improve the game experience.
Winner. Better than mine and it is the future. I still think you can do it in a way to keep that TS "feel". You might have to put overhangs above your premium boxes which will actually add to the crowd noise so not that bad.

Seems they’d have to permanently close north stadium drive to do this.
The closing of N. stadium is actually in the long-term plan for the stadium area. However it is not because of a NEZ expansion.

The first thing they could do to fix that is replace the play by play announcer. The guy was getting some of our own players wrong, he is horrible.

Food and concessions suck arse. Fix that. That's it.

Need to install speakers in south end zone. PA can barely be heard.
And in the NEZ it's painfully loud.

Try significantly. That's probably a 20-30k seat drop.

I have read that the south end zone speakers were initially installed but created some issues with echoes and interference from the opposite side speakers making it even more difficult to understand anything. If that is true they need to get some acoustic specialists to help them design something better than the have.
if true, they mustve hired Best buy to do the install. Only every stadium and arena and large church in america has speakers on all corners and doesnt cause any issues.
i hope this wasnt the reason

Here's the solution for the concessions and restrooms problem: take out the old dorms and reconfigure that space for concessions and restrooms. People won't like it, but it's the right thing to do.
Usually in these threads, there's someone claiming that we should turn the dorms into some type of tailgating suites. This is incredibly impractical in today's world where you can't bring in anything bigger than a wallet that isn't see through*. So, the dorm rooms aren't going to be suites.
However, I suspect that just like the South Stadium Dorms, the structure of the dorms themselves are not what is holding the stadium up. With this being the case, a smart design engineering and architecture team could figure out a way to use that dead space to build much larger restrooms and concession stands where the dorms are now. There would be a lot more space available on the outer side of the ramps than there is currently on the stadium side of the ramps, especially in the upper portals of the lower bowl.
For the first time in a while, I sat above the top portal in the lower bowl (Sec 100, above row 55), and was shocked at how small the bathrooms were and how tight the walkways were. In the third quarter, there was a long single file line for the concessions and very tight walking space to the bathrooms. Yet, there was a rather large area above the old West Stadium dorm that was dead space.
This should be able to be done, and in a way that doesn't disturb the outer facade of the stadium.
It would make the flow of patrons to concessions and restrooms much better, IMHO.
GEAUX TIGERS
*Speaking of the see-through requirement, it's insane that LSU stands alone in not letting in clear backpacks, as if they are any different than a clear carry bag. Yet, my wife (no pics) had to take her backpack, that is legal everywhere else, back to the vehicle before she could enter the game.

No, they have said multiple times that the north end zone will never be expanded as long as the PMAC is there. Would require demo'ing the PMAC, moving Mike's Habitat, and moving N stadium drive.

And why would this be a big deal? Hell most games it isnt full anyway.
Now the AD wouldn't like losing the sales if those tickets even if they are empty seats

“IF” LSU wants to improve Tiger Stadium they need to entirely rethink the seating throughout the stadium and start over. LSU needs to remove every seat in the stadium and add significant space between every seat so fans aren’t packed in like sardines. They also need to make every seat in TS a chair back seat. They simply don’t need 102,000 seats in TS. They rarely, if ever, have all 102,000 seats occupied for a game. They have the money !
They could rearrange the seating and make it much more comfortable if they removed about 15,000 seats and start over. The lion’s share of LSU’s football revenue is not from ticket sales. If you want fans to stay at the game they have to make it more comfortable.
Today, TS is not a comfortable place to watch a game for many fans. It could be. However, they will never do what I’m suggesting. This complete lack of comfort while watching a 4 hour football game is why many fans choose not to attend the game or leave early. When you add the premium price LSU wants for tickets, the total lack of comfort is a factor in fans attending the game. I’ve been a ticket holder for almost 25 years. I’ve heard this complaint many many times.

Didn't at that game. I guess too many years in noisy environments has taken it's toll.
Only been going to games since 1980(freshman year of college).
Only had season tickets a couple of years.
Have 2 kids at LSU now.
TBH, I have never really paid attention to the announcers voice, I was just struck by how many times he called the wrong name in this game. Never noticed that before and didn't realize what I was walking into when I mentioned it. I did really like the way he would say Stingley's name though. That pause before and the emphasis on Junior
Derek Stingley ..... JUNIOR.

Restrooms and Concessions should be done before anything else.

I thought the issue was simply North Stadium Drive rather than the PMAC? But I don't recall the specifics, so you could very well be correct.
