Got all my reservations made. Have to tone down the restaurants a bit since my son is coming with us. Lol. Going to GR Pub and Grill instead of Hell's Kitchen. Also reserved Din Tai Fung and Beer Park (During A&M/ND game.)

Din Tai Fung and Beer Park

Both great choices. Sesame noodles, pork dumplings and spicy wontons at Din Tai Fung are great - and Lucky Buddha beer. Brisket grill cheese at Beer Park is solid. Those two spots along with Best Friend and Golden Steer are my go-to places

Agree with all the above about Fremont. Only go if you are looking to gamble. Way better limits. Don’t get blackout drunk at nighttime there though. Plenty of weed smelling minorities ready to butt frick your corpse.

Pro tip- take Ubers instead of taxis, especially from the airport. You’re welcome.

What a pro tip

We have a pod booked at Westgate Superbook for Saturday all day

We used to love Lagassi Stadium, but it closed unfortunately

Staying at Wynn….Friday night eat at STK in cosmopolitan and gamble … Saturday watch football all day Westgate Sportsbook… Sunday Wynn brunch buffet and Geaux Tigers…Monday hangover

Expect to spend 2-3 times what you normally expect to spend for stuff, and you’ll be ok

We were there for the first time last week and this is 100% true.

Grab two frozen drinks at the pool? $75
Dinner for two at Gordon Ransay Burger? $150
Dinner for two at Smith and Wollensky's? $360

Prices there are insane.

1.) I would never stay on Freemont, but the Freemont Experience on Saturday night was legit amazing.

2.) Take a night and go see Absinthe. It's amazing. Also expensive as shite

3.) We were at Planet Hollywood and it was perfect. Location was perfect for walking anywhere on the strip, price was moderate, room was high quality.

4.) From PH, we could walk to Allegiant, or the sphere, anywhere on the strip. The only time we had to Uber was to and from Freemont and to and from the airport.

5.) Seriously, don't let the money scare you away from a good time.

And if you're old you can apply for half fare. You have to be over age 60.

I'm at the Palms from Friday to Tuesday, but I have comped nights to use at Circa, so some friends and I are going to crash there on Friday night and use our room keys to hang out at Stadium Swim on Saturday.

I've done it. Before the ride share revolution it was WELL worth it.

Faster at times too, cost like $2 and you didn't have to worry about the cabbies taking you for "a ride."
