what's funny is that I nailed the projection perfectly, in the projection thread, with a 6 seed. But, there is zero way to know if certain games had gone differently, including LSU and A&M. But hey, if it makes you feel better about yourself, go for it dude....pat yourself on the back because you can no make a claim (that can't be backed up) that you knew all along LSU was a top 8.

Because the #1 team in the country has never not gotten a top 8 seed in the history of college baseball. And LSU was not going to be the first either. Idk why this was such a worry for people

No they didn't. They knew it could change depending on how we played or others in similar situations. Lsu did what they needed and won a game....it could have gone much differently

That has absolutely nothing to do with what I posted. LSU won that game Friday. There have been idiots bitching and predicting anything from a 9-11 seed as recently as last night.
With a 6, it’s clear LSU wasn’t anywhere close to the Top 8 cut line. Even without a win in the SECT, we likely would have been just fine at 7 or 8. But that aside, there was no reason for all of the drama yesterday the way things played out.

There was no way LSU was falling out of the Top 8 in the tournament no matter how much you want to say otherwise.

I thought about arguing the point that we were top 8 to all of these people freaking out. Then I remembered how its gone before and realized I don't have the energy or patience for all that bullshite anymore. You don't go from being ranked number 1 to outside the top 8 that fast unless its a catastrophic collapse.

Until the baseball in other conferences picks up, you can pencil in the top 4 SEC teams into the top 8.
