WHAT? Bro we had Paul SKENES. Nobody was beating him that year. We also had arguably the most complete lineup from top to bottom in school history. The bullpen was lights out at the end of the season. We smoke Tennessee that year. I would also put 2025 ahead of Tennessee because of the pitching we had.

The 23 CWS was the most enjoyable I have ever seen. I don't remember being excited for each pitch of a series as I was for that team.
We do not win that CWS without Morgan's play or Beloso's bat. Tre Morgan still is my most favorite Baseball Tiger.
Ty Floyd's masterful performance in Game 1 of the finals with 17 Ks.
Beloso's walk off Game 1 Finals.
24 fricking hits Game 3 of the Finals.
Jordan Thompson putting his garguantuan nutsack down for the final series after struggling offensively for a month while catching hell 24/7.
Dylan Crews Golden Spikes.
Tommy White. Walk-off against Wake.
Paul Skenes GOAT.
Travinski
Josh Pearson
Gavin MF Dugas
The social media hype videos for each game.
IF there is ever a better Tiger baseball team assembled, I hope to God I am alive to see it. #7 was the best for me and I have seen all 8 of them.

Also, as streaky as Jobert was in his time here.. when he’s on he’s ON, and when he’s off he’s ice cold but he was hotter than a fire ant on a fever blister in Omaha. Very underrated player that post season.

Jobert absolutely needed to be on my list. My apologies to him if he reads this thread.

2024 lost to fsu. Still don’t know how that check swing was called a ball

Had sex... Don't care. Forever LSU

The team with Paul Skenes is the best team going away. Guy is headed towards first ballot hall of fame.

Tennessee was one cheating called strike away from not winning. The ump cheated and they didn't deserve it
Posted on 2/23/26 at 4:21 pm to cbree88
We won without Skenes pitching in the final so I gotta go with that team.

2023 is one of the best CWS fields ever, so 2023 LSU. That was a gauntlet.

I give them a slight edge over 2025 LSU.

Obviously NOT an LSU Fan.
I mean…. Who the F logs onto an LSU Fan message board. Decides to start a thread based fully on an “opinion”. His “opinion” is that the two National Championships of the fan message board is not as good as the National Championship won by a rival school???
Why come here with this opinion stupidity????

Why are you the way you are?

You are absolutely crazy ranking Tenn ahead of that 2023 team alongside the 2025 team. No way. Wake Forest is one of the best college baseball games I can remember. WF was legit that year and Tenn was better that year than their NC year and LSU dragged them around like a hate crime.

Keep on proving youre a damn retard.

The more fun, and impossible because of the vastly different eras of the sport, is ranking LSU's 8 natty teams.
1997 LSU
2009 LSU
2023 LSU
1991 LSU
2025 LSU
1993 LSU
2000 LSU
1996 LSU
But I think you can rearrange 97, 09 and 23 in any order 1-3, same foes for 91, 25, 93 from 4-6. I think, while the most fun and thrilling win, 96 was by far the worst team of the bunch.

Giving 2024 Tennessee the nod is a bad take, but putting 2023 LSU at 3rd was downright fricking dumb.
I’m not surprised considering the source. Good work.
