We all know the ending. State will eventually impose their will and blow ULL out of the stadium. State just has superior athletes , facilities, and coaching.

Ragin Cajuns have their panties in a bunch over the LSU national championship bumper just now?

Not really, I think LSU makes the playoffs and does what Bama couldn’t do last year.

I know preseason is time where hope springs eternal but I have to be cautiously optimistic. Been told so many times the tigers have made a change on offense and it’ll be different. But keep getting burned.

Always pull for Louisiana teams, especially over Mississippi teams lol.. But if they do win. It’s because Miss state was overrated, coach sucks etc lol..

Yep, kinda stupid to root against a Louisiana team against a hated, cowbell ringing bunch of thugs who are also a hated SEC west rival. ULL is harmless to us. The SEC homerism died in the ‘90’s.
Posted on 8/31/19 at 12:31 pm to mississippi_tiger
Why would we do that?
Posted on 8/31/19 at 12:33 pm to mississippi_tiger
I would much rather see the Moo Cows suffer an embarrassing loss.

Most of you are likely familiar with the Texas A&M tradition of the Twelfth Man, where the student body stands to show they are ready to come to the aid of the team.
But how many know about the equally honorable ULL tradition of the Twelfth Fan? It seems years ago, the Cajuns were yet again going down to defeat, and the crowd was abandoning them in droves. The head coach looked over his shoulder and noticed there were only 11 fans left. He lamented to an assistant that there were no more fans in the stands than Cajun players on the field. Without comment, a young freshman player jumped from the bench and ran to the dressing room. He returned a few minutes later in street clothes and sat in the stands for the remainder of the game, preserving a spectator majority.
In his honor, at each home game a player sits on the bench in street clothes, ready to take to the stands if called.

Gosh damn.
That is a sad and pathetic tradition. I hope you are just joking because that is so depressing I don’t even feel like googling it to see if it is real.

Yeah...that’s not an actual tradition
