If we go by who we’ve played the most, it’s the two Mississippi schools and Bama.

Honestly, that’s a balanced group for us. One elite opponent, one mid-tier, and one terrible.

No. LSU struggles a lot recently at Kyle Field.

And yet we’ve only beaten Bama twice in 15 years and a lot of y’all still want that game every year for some reason.

I feel like LSU is in Bama's top 3 just from the lyrics in 'Dixieland Delight'.

We will get the worst draw out of all. Sec will protect texas georgia and bama. We will get a top 3 difficulty draw and loss rival games.

I hate joining the sky is always falling crowd. But mark it down. We gonna be bent over on this

I'd prefer Ole Miss, Auburn and Arkansas. Save Alabama for a championship game.

I think nostalgia is what’s motivating these thoughts and comments from you. You watched the old SEC West for years or even decades before they switched it up in 2012 by adding A&M. Then they really switched it up in 2024 by doing away with the divisions.

I mean I get them trying to protect other rivalries but why they don’t just do 4 blocks

OU
TEX
AM
MIZZOU

LSU
MISS ST
OLE MISS
ARK

BAMA
AUB
UT
VANDY

KENTUCKY
USCe
UF
UGA

Sure you lose a few of the rivalry games most notably probably on that list AUB-UGA… but those pairs keep a ton of rivalries intact.

Play your block every year so there’s 3 games, you rotate through the other blocks every year so that’s 4 games, and you play the teams in the remaining two blocks that finished same place as you in each block the previous year a lot like what the NFL does.

Championship game reps are just based on top record in the conference, no east or west.

That way you don’t go decades without seeing someone, you get a chance of drawing one of the teams from the other blocks you don’t see as “often”, and keep a lot of the rivalries duos intact.

LSU was 4-6 in those 10 games, with 3 of those wins in Tiger Stadium. And... LSU has played A&M every year from 2011-2024 (Arlington in 2011 and home & home since). LSU is 1-0 on a neutral site, 3-4 at Kyle Field and 6-0 in Tiger Stadium. That, sir, is a

Did you know that OKLAHOMA is a better brand and will attract more national eyes to LSU.

That sir, is a better game.

People are saying those pods are unfair. We do have an easy draw there. But when you really look at it each group has 2 good teams and 2 second tiers.

It has to do with 7 overtime’s and the milk men cheerleaders.

It is a damn sight better than Florida or Alabama. We have a great record of success against aTm historically and recently.

Florida is way too high

I’ll take any of the western teams over Fla

Traveling there sucks
Their fans suck
The town sucks

Ole Miss
Ala
Aburn
Am
Ark
Mstate

All better options

Another example of this AI crap being wrong on stats. It happens all the time yet people still use it like it’s a legit tool.

We are one of their Top 3. We aren’t Top 3 for some teams we would consider our Top 3. It’s impossible to give everyone their Top 3 choices. Add all that together and add the desire to balance schedule strengths and A&M winds up one of the 3. We aren’t getting Miss St, Ole Miss, Arkansas or Alabama, Auburn, Florida, for example.
