That would be awesome if we took all money the women’s basketball spends and gave it to baseball

Damn maybe me and you can agree on some things

I’ll ask it a different way: what is your plan for paying for the improvements? Who pays? How much?

Isn’t it the job of all those people working in the athletic department to figure that out? Like there are people whose entire job revolves around raising money for stuff like this.

I already have great chairback seats under the roof. Would I pay for the outfield seats to be upgraded? Why or why not?

Are you asking if your funds would be used? If so, the yes probably.

Proper ones? No, of course not. That would require the fans to quit complaining.

It’s not my responsibility. LSU hires a complete staff to figure this out. The following schools have figured it out since Alex Box 2 opened.

Texas A&M (Twice)
Tennessee
Mississippi State
Ole Miss (Twice)
Alabama
Oklahoma
Mizzou
South Carolina (opened current stadium in 09)
Vanderbilt
Georgia
Florida
Auburn

but LSUs upgrades included adding 40 premium seats where the bullpens were
40 seats?

The move of the bullpens resulted in 158 additional premium club seats, 52 seats along the left field line and 106 seats along the right field line. LINK

The seat backs prevent the “spillover” in Tiger Stadium, but I’ve had it happen also in the Box.

all depends on Kiffin and getting football back into top form. If football does well money will increase for the AD in general and it will benefit all sports. That is why it was so important to go all in on football.

This, if kiffin gets a title in first two years money will be crazy flowing in

I was off by 118 seats and it looks like shite because LSU took the quick money grab. I guess you can hang your hat on selling corporate loge boxes.

NGL that TN ballpark looks nice af. The Box could definitely benefit from a facelift.

Didn’t you know that LSU fans spend less than all of those schools who have upgraded since 2009?

Basically, LSU is the only team not drastically improving the fan experience. But sure, the fans don’t donate enough according to Russian.

They need to put speakers in right field. You’re telling me you have a brand deal with Turtle Box and can’t put some speakers in the outfield?

Soooo…… you want chairbacks do you? For each row you will lose multiple seats since the chair backs require more width. So who will give up their seats on each row???
Move people to another section? Who will give up those seats?

Skenes, Tommy Tanks, Crews, Anderson and two NCs in three seasons!

I’d say they improved the fan’s experience.

Deflect all you want. It’s fine. There isn’t much argument as to why LSU shouldn’t have the premier ballpark in the country. Players come for the coach, the great crowds (they’re rare during the regular season now), and player facilities. The crowds show when we win. We win when we get great coaches and players. Everyone is and should be happy with the on-field results. But we’ve been touting LSU’s shitty stands and experience for the fans for 10 years. It’s not new.

Also, I can’t tell if you are saying we should upgrade the Box only when our teams starts to suck.
