I don't necessarily think its a better job. I think the school and fans have more passion about basketball than LSU. But I think he can recruit easier at LSU. The ACC has a disproportionate revenue share that is heavily weighted in football viewership. NC State is way down the list for that.
Also LSU is a nike school compared to NC State being an adidas school. This doesn't carry nearly as much weight as it used to, but still favors LSU
