It was announced almost immediately he had wrist cramps and no one was worried.

Yep. Better numbers against better overall competition with less hitting support to boot.

Or maybe starting late and muggy conditions had him a bit dehydrated

The late start I understand. But even though the humidity was high on Friday night, the temperature at game time wasn't. It was 65 degrees. It wasn't a hot (80's) summer night that is usually associated with cramping (due to excessive sweating).

Anytime a pitcher leaves a game with arm discomfort there is cause for concern. Johnson said it was not a big deal. There is nothing known at this point to suggest otherwise. However, Johnson isn't the most candid of coaches, so I can understand fans not being fully convinced until they see Anderson make another start.

So we can’t cramp under those conditions? Pat Peterson says hello

They should keep Anderson and Eyanson on normal rest this weekend, especially with Anderson coming off an injury. Makes no sense to risk it.

Ill stop being concerned when anderson is listed as a probable starter. I dont trust jay on injuries, he tends to be overly optimistic to outright lying on occasion

Not going to lie, my concern level is higher than Jay's message to the public.

Agreed, as it should be. Anderson may be fine, but Jay’s comments on it immediately after the game don’t necessarily mean he is.

On a more serious note. Is it too late to buy tickets to Omaha?

IF Anderson is ok (& I’m in the Jay is not telling the truth (see Gavin Guidry)), then keep your normal rotation & give everyone an extra day prior to the SEC tournament.
