Would Aranda and Joe Brady come with him? If not, then is it really a "better" job?

There is zero chance Orgeron would walk away from the position that this program is in right now.

Coach O loves it here. He bleeds P&G and this is his dream job. He'd probably take a pay cut to continue coaching at LSU. That's how much he loves LSU.

Name one goood reason why he would leave LSU for USC, Is it because the last time he was intern HC coach there they treated him so well or that great athletic department?

Ya I’m sure a lot of programs want a guy who has one of the worst records in sec history and a loss to Troy in his resume. LSU recruits itself, it’s not orgeron.

Yes and Yes. He is connected out West. His salary is average at LSU. LSU isn’t his dream job as he says. He recruited against LSU for years. He chose Tennessee over LSU about 7 years ago. He knows LSU fans will turn on him with the quickness if shite goes bad one year.

Stop with this nonsense. He’s on record as saying at least two other jobs were his dream job and he began angling for a raise/extension before the second year of his 5 year contract with LSU was over. He’s like any other coaching lifer and just happens to be from down the bayou.

Nobody's making a run at O. LSU didn't even make a run at him. He fell backward in to this job.

If he would be their target then he would have the LSU program in an incredible positoion on a national level so why would he want to take on another rebuilding job. LSU would do whatever is necessary to keep him, given the investment they have shown in the program.

No shite that Liberty University has better football facilities than half the Pac12.

Liberty has pretty great facilities for all their sports. Way better than they need to have. Their track facilities are smaller but much nicer than ours.

He won't leave, but it may be time to open the check book to keep him here. Right now his salary vis a vis his position and accomplishments here at LSU are a bit of a slap in the face. He should be monetarily compensated the way an LSU HC is supposed to be compensated if we intend on keeping him here

After a playoff run, sure, maybe look at it then. The reason his salary was lower was twofold. First, market. No other program was taking that chance. LSU gave it to him. Second, hardware. Prior success had not been proven as it had with other candidates. Because of that, the publicly stated deal was that he would be paid less initially so that elite coordinators could be appropriately compensated.

It’s that simple. He gets the success here, then he gets the pay that success demands.
