Your Biggest Melt Ever on TD

On TD? 2015 Bama, Arky, and Ole Miss.

Not on TD? 2010 Tenn...easily the worst I have ever reacted. I didn't even get to witness us winning the game. I thought the game was over and stormed outside.

Honestly probably a few weeks ago at Bama. I felt like LSU could and should have run them off the field
Your biggest melt was the first game after firing our coach because we suck which was playing against a (at the time) one-loss Bama team in Tuscaloosa?

Wade being fired. I'm still melting.

Fat Scott is still catching these hands if I see him in public.

Yeah, on this board. I’ve melted harder outside the board but I’ve never really posted on here when I’m actually annoyed

When it was revealed Bama would be our opponent in the championship game at the end of the 2011 season I posted:

This will be the most devastating loss in LSU history.

Not my most supportive comment. It was not well received.

I don't know if I ever posted it, but I made a spreadsheet to analyze Jamarcus vs Matt Flynn back in the day, to show that Flynn should be starting. I guess that was in 2006? Anyway, how dumb.

I’m curious if FSU fans melted when they lost the rematch to Florida in the Sugar Bowl in 1996?

I'd have to go '12 vs bama. We had that game, should have won the game, and the entire trajectory of college football history for a decade or so was decided that night. If LSU/Miles pulls that game out, after the bullshite rematch NC the previous year, I think LSU/Miles could and would have competed for the title every year if Miles and LSU aren't broken completely and it takes a once in a lifetime talent and a core of hall of famers, especially at Wr, to be able to break the streak nearly a decade later.

Anyone who remembers those refs in 2018 A&M…most upset I’ve been after a game maybe next to the Nola no call…which happened to be about 6 weeks later.

I wasn’t on back then, but losing that 7OT game to TAMU would have been bad. The refs robbed us on a PI or non-PI call if I remember correctly.

Lots of recent… in no particular order, 1986 Miami of Ohio, 2005 Tenn loss, 2006 Auburn no PI call, J. Howard’s 1994 5 int game against Auburn

I’ve been here awhile now so I feel qualified to rank a couple of the biggest meltdowns.
My list is as follows:

1. 1/9/12 - There isn’t anything close

2. 5 for 5 - Broke the recruiting board and had the site crashed for a few minutes if I recall correctly.

3. The entire ending to the Les Miles era felt like a 6 month meltdown.

4. LSU vs Tenn in 2010 - By far the biggest meltdown after a win.

5. LSU vs Ole Miss in 09. The Jefferson clock the ball game.

The Les Miles era really used to light this place up. I don’t find it as melty anymore, but we may get back there eventually.
