The 6 month chart is absolutely erotic.
$1.20 on April 8th.
Up over 275%.
Don’t stop now!

If this goes above $5 I am going to unload some for better or for worse. We are still a ways away from production, and I don't want to make the same mistake the last time this thing went off. The only thing that concerns me is the government buying 10% stakes in these companies. I'd hate to miss one of those.

I sold 2000 shares of Intel like the day before Trump announced they were taking a position in it. I did put a bit of it in SLI, but the rest I re-invested are doing OK. Not 100+%. Still think it was the right move with the info on hand at the time, but shite happens.

I dont think SLI is advanced enough in the project for this to happen any time soon. The Gov didnt buy in LAC until after ground breaking. I think it would be foolish to buy in any earlier. SLI's timeline for construction start is "2026". But I don't see it happening that fast. With the project still not funded, construction start will be centered around long lead time items. At least we are getting out of the COVID area for super long lead times on equipment.

It's my understanding that at 5$, a whole new class of investor is allowed to buy in. I'd expect 5 to 6.50-7 to be a quick ride.

The only reason for them to buy in now is to develop the east Texas project faster. The potash is important for agriculture and behind Canada, China and Russia are the two largest producers. The US produces about 400,000 tons/year. The amount of recoverable potash in east Texas could provide 400,000 tons/year for 38.5 years.

There is an old Burt Reynolds film titled W.W. And The Dixie Dancekings produced in the mid-seventies. In the scene W.W. was with his date at a drive-in movie theater in a classic 1955 Olds Delta 88 both seemingly enjoying the moment.
She said "Don't stop now, WW!" I expected the next scene to be absolutely erotic but it dialog was rather humorous.

That would "set me right." Pre-market at $4.61 per share. It has been a very good week.

If the gov't is thinking of buying in, I patient enough for it to run up to that range before Trump gives up a 200-300% bump.
For the record, we get something insane like that, I'll be dumping my long term shares as work of any kind would be extremely optional.

Hope it works that way. I feel like we've held long enough
Curious to see how everyone plans to use the proceeds assuming it works out for us.
I'm retired, so right now my plan would be to put 50% into income funds and the other into an S&P fund.

It was a weird reaction it was going down then the tweet it shot back up briefly and crashed back down. I thought it was fixing to take off. Now I have no idea what to expect next week!

He is going to be prioritizing domestic production. The gov't funding the east Texas project and greasing the permitting process would certainly help. If he gave a price floor, it would make sense to get SWA project going faster as well.
