yeah - Don't like your chances, sorry. It didn't have lunchtime dip.

Not sure what's going on behind the curtain, a 2nd 10% jump in under 5 days, $2.50 within reach today

There’s virtually no news, so I would expect this to drop back down at some point. I’ll buy more at some point. Trying to “time the market” here, which I know is a fool’s errand.

With this huge pop, I googled to see if there was some EPA news or something. I did find this X post from a little over a week ago and don't think it was shared here. Nothing we didn't already know, but just another person's opinion on the timeline we're working with:

?? HydroGraph (HGRAF) EPA Update: The Final Stretch to Mass Production

As we close out December 2025, all eyes are on the EPA’s “final signature” for HydroGraph Clean Power. For investors and industry watchers, this regulatory green light is the final "starting gun" for the mass production of fractal graphene in the United States.

?? Current Status: P-24-0086

HydroGraph’s specific Pre-Manufacture Notice (PMN P-24-0086) covers both FGA-1 (high-conductivity grade for batteries) and FGA-2 (lubrication grade).

• The Progress: The case has officially cleared the "Scoping" phase and is currently in the Focus Meeting stage.

• The Peer Benchmark: On December 22, 2025, a primary competitor (GMG) announced they had accepted their EPA "approval conditions." This confirms the EPA is actively clearing the graphene backlog.

• The "Signature" Window: With the case now in Focus/Risk Assessment, we are moving toward the final Risk Management phase. Based on typical federal timelines, the final "signature" is anticipated between late February and early March 2026.
?? Why the Signature Matters

The EPA approval is the official trigger for HydroGraph's aggressive 2026 expansion plan:

1. Texas Groundbreaking: HydroGraph is set to break ground in Q1 2026 on a 70,000 sq. ft. facility.

2. Massive Capacity: This site will jump from the current ~1 ton/month capacity to over 350 tons annually by late 2026.

3. Revenue Shift: The signature allows HydroGraph to move from selling "test samples" to fulfilling tonnage-scale industrial contracts with their 60+ current trial customers.

?? Technical Deep Dive: FGA-1 vs. FGA-2
The filing covers two distinct products that serve separate multi-billion dollar markets:

• FGA-1 (3–9 layers): Optimized for EV batteries and high-strength plastics. Recent tests showed a 114% increase in PET plastic strength, allowing for significantly lighter and greener packaging.

• FGA-2 (~32 layers): Optimized for the lubrication and concrete sectors. Its "sliding plate" structure significantly reduces friction and mechanical wear in industrial engines.
?? What to Watch Next

Keep a close eye on the EPA PMN Status Table. The next major "tell" will be the status changing to "Awaiting Submitter Signature." Once that appears, a formal company announcement is usually only 5–10 business days away.

The Bottom Line: HydroGraph is redomiciling to Texas, securing acetylene pipeline access, and preparing for a potential Nasdaq listing in February 2026. All signs suggest the company is positioning itself to hit the ground running the second the EPA pen hits the paper.

My DCA is $2.23 with some of my highest positions in the $2.50's and $2.70's, trying to decide if I want to risk selling those, if we get there, to average down when/if it drops again.

Get out of here with that pessimism:

Maybe the market knows something that we don’t with the EPA approval since it’s such a huge spike the last few days.

I’ve been watching it for a few days waiting for a dip to get more but decided to pull the trigger at 2.36.

Closes at 2.58

Other than my one failed attempt at swing trading it, I haven't been worried about DCA'ing this one.

I agree with Igoringa: this seems to be a binary play where it's worth nothing or it's worth a ton. So right now - before the EPA decision - it's all about accumulating regardless of price IMO. I've been buying weekly since October and I just set it to buy at market price.

I would just put in whatever money you are prepared to gamble and not worry about a few pennies or dimes here and there. Whether we are right or wrong about this stock, those won't matter soon enough.
