I’m looking for an entry point too. The lack of news bothers me.

Screw it. 917 more shares at 2.72.

I think it's just anticipation. FOMO is getting people to buy. The higher the price goes, the more FOMO affects people. People are hearing things about how this stock could go to the moon...
I bet there are a lot of people buying this stock now that were criticizing us 6 months ago for buying into what was obviously a pump and dump with an Instagram model for a CEO.

I'm sure you are correct. This kept some people from buying in or kept them from taking a larger risk

I bought in, anyway, but I think there are a lot of people who were ready to jump in and were scared away by the assholes who know nothin' 'bout nothin' and were 100% certain that this was a pump and dump. This is a perfect example of why you should not listen to random "experts" on the internet.
Having said that, I am not 100% certain this is not a pump and dump. There is always that possibility. If it is a pump and dump, it is being beautifully orchestrated...

The thing that worried/still worries me is the small amount of cash on hand.

They just sold stock to raise cash. They said that $20 million would get the facility built, get all needed equipment built and running and cover all expenses and salaries.
C'mon, fooking EPA.

That $20M never felt like enough - they have to build a factory. I'm sure they didn't want to add too many new shares outstanding while the price was in the $2 range, at that time, and may raise more cash after the EPA approval.
I'm wondering if one of the first contracts to be announced will be a government contract and that HGRAF will be getting a government grant that will help get the facilities built. Having a supply of pure graphene is in our national security interest, so I would think it's feasible.
They say they want to start slow, with 350 tons/year capacity by the end of 2026, but I don't know if there is any reason they can't accelerate that if the right customer comes along and pays to build a bunch of Hyperions up front.
Kevin Bambrough thinks the stock is going to go "bonkers". What would happen to the price if they got EPA approval and announced that they had $5B in contracts from the US DoW over the next 3 years? I would think it would go bonkers...

I’ve been buying since yesterday. Had to wait for my cash to clear to buy a stock under $3.00 on Fidelity.
Sold some shite I’ve been sitting on for years at a loss and bought more this am.

Given the numbers in play here and the (reported) value-in-use of graphene, it would not be difficult for the company to get a major customer or two to fund/enable capex. Do those customers exist?

All good. This is play money and I’m terrible at picking stocks so figure I’d ride with you guys because I’d hate to miss out
I think I’m in SLI, HGRAF, and PGEN. What I need to do is quit pussy footing around and get in early with you folks.

Yes. They go by acronyms and use taxpayer money as payment.

I played in that pool for over a year. Took some profit, but also saw profit erode away over time while they had 137 PR announcements solely about attending a random conference somewhere.
If Hydro starts routinely attending conferences as PR I'm out with the quickness.

Is DCA’ing up a common practice investing in stock?

I'm not sure that it is planned that way, but yes, people do DCA up. If you believe strongly in a stock and are accumulating over time, you may DCA up, since good stocks generally go up in value.
In the case of HGRAF, a lot of people have DCA's up because they have grown more and more confident over time that this stock is going to pay off. I know a lot of us got in as a flyer at less than 1 dollar, because it was a good story and it was cheap. Now they are buying it because they don't want to be stuck with dry powder when it pops.
