Only thing I'm worried about is the old saying buy the rumor sell the news
The problem for some people is that there are multiple rumors in the pipeline. If people take profits after the EPA news, they risk missing the next big runup.
The EPA is going to be a two parter - the EPA will send the guidelines to HGRAF. It won't be official until they sign it, which will be a week or two later. Then, of course, they will make a big deal of announcing the grand opening of the Austin headquarters, which will legitimize the company and their intentions. Then the Houston facility. All the while, they will be announcing contracts.
Kevin Bambrough says they have about 12,000-15,000 tons of potential orders in the 75 companies they are working with right now. That would be $3B in sales at the lowest priced variant (and 12,000 tons). They aren't going to have the capacity to produce anywhere near that this year, but the backlog could drive the price way up before they scale to satisfy those orders.
I guess I'm saying that it would be risky to start taking profits until this thing settles out...

The only reason I can think of for someone to short this is hoping EPA approval doesn't happen, which seems less and less likely by the day.
I don't know what that means. Someone closed a short position?

That’s how I understand it too. They borrowed the shares, sold them at a certain price, and are hoping the price drops enough before they have to return them to pocket the gains.
I haven’t personally done share lending, so I’m not an expert on it, but it doesn’t look like the OP actually sold an options contract. It seems more like a third party entered a contract involving his shares through a lending program. They either close their position or the contract expired and OP's shares were returned.

I need to stop watching this thing and get some work done.

You’re watching to see if it goes high enough that you might not have to go back to work.

I don't have enough shares for that.

I’d need for it to 1000x

I suspect that there are people on this board who will be considering retirement before the end of the year if this pops the way Kevin Bambrough predicts...
I think this board is one of a small number of places where you can learn about HGRAF. If you think about it, there are a number of people on this board who have over 100k shares. That means that the amount of shares being held by TD posters is not just a rounding error. If you take out the Kevin B's of the world and his 18 million shares, then TD has a NOT insignificant share of the total HGRAF stock.
Either we're ahead of the curve and geniuses, thanks to Ignoring, or we are all suckers for a very sophisticated pump and dump (again, thanks to Ignoring -

I'm assuming that people were honest about their holdings when someone asked on this thread a while back. I have no reason to believe that they wouldn't be.
I suspect that most of the folks that have those kinds of numbers got in while the price was well under a dollar. I know some folks worked hard and got the cost average down to zero, or close to it.
My point is that to think about what is going to happen to the stock price when they are NASDAQ listed and start selling graphene and making profits. There's a lot of people out there that have never heard of HGRAF and are about to learn...
True story - I was at the 21st Amendment distillery about 2 weeks ago (excellent spot for a cocktail if you're ever in Vero Beach), and I sat next to a guy and started bullshitting, and HE brought up the fact that graphene was going to be the next big thing. I mentioned Hydrograph to him and he had never heard of them. He was asking me where their mine is, and I told him that they don't have a mine and that it is all synthetic graphene made by detonating acetylene gas in a pressure chamber. I could tell he was skeptical, so I showed him a few articles, and he is now an investor...

Has anyone asked the guy on the yahoo boards for him to request another update from the epa on the status of the approval?
Just saw he asked EPA again and as predictable with EPA (or most govt agencies) there is no change in status or timeline.
"Still on track to be completed by the end of the month"
The tidbit of good news in the email to him from EPA , "the partial government shutdown has not affected any part of the new chemical review process"
So we wait....

I've tried to help a few people see the potential, but none have put money on the line, it's still a science project situation to them.

The difference with this guy is that he KNEW about graphene already. He told me that graphene was gonna replace all the rare earth minerals that we currently get from China. I told him that wasn't exactly true, but that graphene was a pretty cool material. He was an easy sell when he realized that HGRAF can make as much as they want without mining graphite...

Well, it's getting to be about that time where the profit takers start takin' profits...

Same here but the response is "pink sheets / OTC!? Get outta here"
Whatever, losers. I tried!

Looking like a nice end of day run after the midday pull back.
