I was thinking about President Trump and his push to secure rare earth minerals for national security reasons. He mentioned graphite, but not graphene.
I would watch to see if he mentions graphene after HGRAF gets approval. If he does, that might be an indicator that folks in the DoW are waiting for HGRAF to buy into graphene.
I can see it now:
We are going to invest in Graphene. You should see this stuff. It's unbelievable. GRAPHENE. They say it does things that nobody has ever seen before. It's harder than steel and stronger than diamonds. It conducts electricity like... it's unbelievable what it can do. And we make the best graphene. Better than China. Better than Canada. We're going to make Canada the 51st state, by the way. But in the meantime, we're going to make their graphene right her in the United States. We're going to make ships, batteries, roads, and all kinds of stuff with graphene. Robots. We're going to make the greatest robots with this stuff. And cars. Self driving cars. Maybe we'll give Chuck Schumer one of those. He's getting too old to drive. He can probably use one. AOC. She's too dumb to drive. We'll get her one, too. This is going to change America. Thank you for your attention on this matter...

Trying to decide if I should add more. Share count is 3k+. Average cost is about 1.64 per share.

Before reading, assume you have more financial literacy than I do.
I’ve been thinking about how to value this stock. It’s been posted that they are planning a bigger reactor but the current reactors can produce 10 metric tons of fractal graphene. Also that they can sell their Graphene for 250k-800k per ton with under 50k cost.
So I made this chart to map out the stock price at different p/e levels when the number of Hyperion reactors/tons sold reaches different plateaus.
Is this a useful way to look at things? I appreciate your feedback.

Something to keep an eye on is how many Hyperion units are they building?

I bought shares last year slightly below a dollar. Had I bought a bit earlier that, of course, would've been better.
Congratulations and All the Best to you!

So the current chambers produce 10 metric tons. Is that per year? Per batch? How many batches can one chamber produce in a year?
Posted on 2/22/26 at 8:30 pm to JperiodCperiod
So someone give us a realistic PE number for "this" industry?
Posted on 2/22/26 at 9:29 pm to JperiodCperiod
I can't find the tweet, but I saw something about potentially up to 35 metric tons/chamber/year on the high end. 10 metric tons is probably a conservative estimate.

No one has ever made 99.8% high quality graphene at scale before. Oly HG seems to have that aaability.

If they get contracts from Dow, 3M, Pentegon then at $500K per chamber they could easily get a line of $1B. That would be 2000 units. Of course that is hardware only. They have to be in a facility that is very secure. SO it's big money needed. T
Are all stocks sold? Any in their Treasury?

The units are closer to $300k, and at 80% profit margin, they will be able to fund future growth with current sales. The units will be paid off after producing a couple of tons.
Also, I think they are planning on having some of the bigger customers finance the build costs buy paying up front.
I dont know how long it would take to manufacture 1000 units, but I would think that if they placed an order for 1000 units, it would be because they have the orders in hand...

In an interview with the CEO it was confirmed that their current units can produce 10 tons/yr, but COULD stretch it to 15 tons/yr if running around the clock. The 10 tons/yr was not based on 24 hour operation.
They are also designing 25 ton/yr units, but at this point I'm not sure they have even made it to testing phase with the larger units.
Keep in mind the chambers are relatively small and I read somewhere 100 of them can fit in a decent size warehouse.
100 X 10 = 1,000
1,000 X $350,000/ton = $350,000,000 in annual revenue
Pretty significant revenue for a start-up

Reddit reporting some institutional activity
——
I'm still monitoring for Institutional Investors. It appears minimal amounts reported:
New Institutional Positions (February 17–23, 2026) ?While 13F filings technically reflect the previous quarter, the "processing dates" and disclosures over the last seven days show that the following firms are officially on the books as holders: ?Osaic Holdings Inc.: Reported a new position of 7.57k shares on February 17, 2026.
?Bank of America Corp: Reported 7.26k shares on February 17, 2026.
?Royal Bank of Canada (RBC): Reported 6.93k shares on February 17, 2026.
?Creative Planning: Disclosed 3.87k shares on February 17, 2026.
?Sunbelt Securities Inc.: One of the most recent filings, reporting 2.77k shares on
———-
They're potentially moving in! Should be some really high volume coming our way. My personal opinion is that some shorts got out of the game late last week.
Significant Institutional "Hedges" and Short Activity ?In the last week, short sale volume for HGRAF has been unusually high, which often indicates that institutional "market makers" or hedge funds are actively trading the volatility around the Austin facility opening: ?FINRA Short Volume: On February 18, the short volume ratio hit 63.89%.
?Short Shares Availability: As of February 19, over 5.2 million shares were made available for shorting, suggesting that institutional lenders are preparing for high-volume trading.

I always pick up 100 shares of whatever this board recommends, just to be a team player..... very few of the companies recommended remain listed. I guess its the equivalent of playing the lottery

There is rumor of one Eurotrash company that is making it, commercially. I will not name them, but they are not publicly traded.

Wow.
My jaw dropped when I logged in and saw the entire portfolio was up. Then I saw why.
