I didn't see this thread for a long-damned time. When I did, I did a lot of DD, then called two ChemE's and a MechE. They all said it sounds very feasible. I got in around Sept. the 3rd or 4th. I was content with what I had, then started doing the math on what the tax bill would be if this hits $1k. The extra 2500 I bought Friday will all be sold to pay taxes later.

I have all my eggs in ASTS right now. HGRAF was essentially my first non-ASTS purchase in 2 years. I feel like HGRAF may outperform ASTS in the near short-term. I always wanted to diversify, so here’s my first attempt to do so. I did as much due diligence the last 4 days, and it feels like when ASTS was $6-8 after Verizon and ATT agreements in May 2024. Derisked enough to make an educated decision.

If we hit $1000/share, then I don’t give a damn about the taxes. I never thought I’d say that.

Haven't been paying attention today, out of town helping a family member. I checked this evening and HGRAF is close to 10% of my trading account. I'm uncomfortable when any one stock gets to that level, but...... I may have to make an exception.

Was anything said about acetylene decomposition and the difficulties with transporting and storing large amounts at pressure? This is a concern of mine.

I cannot decide if I should buy now or hope for a drop
I don't want another NBIS wherein I buy too much at the top and it plummets.

I know it's frustrating because I know what your cost basis on NBIS, but that stock is not dead yet.

If it doesn't do this by the end of 2029 I may have to just settle for $600.

We did not discuss this. We discussed benefits of carbon content in different substances, etc. I tried to get them all to jump in but they all decided not to.

But I'm right there with you - I also have some NBIS in the $130s

Grain of salt, but allegedly this guy talked with some HGRAF folks over the weekend about scaling production:

Yes - the Houston facility will have an initial annual capacity of 350 tons.
However, they have A LOT of land they can build additional buildings, which will house additional reactors.
It’s my understanding after chatting with $HG $HGRAF this weekend at the conference, it could house THOUSANDS of reactors.
They will put up additional buildings, and build additional reactors to scale with customer demand.
Exactly as
@BambroughKevin
has stated here on X. Now that EPA / REACH approvals have been obtained. It’s full steam ahead with the $50 million+ they have on hand to ramp up production, sales and R&D.

Yeah the guy in that weekend video said they can build a reactor in 3 months and multiple simultaneously.

I'm guessing you haven't looked very deep.
They were/are making graphene in Manchester, KS. They were shipping acetylene in by truck.
They are deep into the relocation process of relocating to a facility near Houston/Austin TX. The primary purpose of this is to be closer to an acetylene producer, like via a short pipeline.
Does that help your concern?

Short term, this is all potential - the next couple of months. Mid term, the stock price will be all about signed contracts and scaling up. Long term, it will be about revenue and profits.
In the middle term, the price could go to 3 figures if their are a couple of big contacts and the p/e
Could be 100x.
