Anyhow this is huge news!

I really don't think it is. Everyone knew this was coming. It's important news that things didn't fall through or get seriously delayed with HQ, but it was expected.

I get your point here - but a lot has been expected over the past 9 months and has not happenned. Not trying to suggest there should be a signfiicant low bar but any actual concrete movement towards the objectives set is a positive.

Recall one of the primary short pushers a few months ago was standing outside that location arguing that the condition it was in was evidence it was not real. Again low bar I know but we need confirmation of these pedestrian steps

Agree

They ended up missing on their original timeline, which I think was February by about six weeks

Which is forgivable

Let’s just not miss on the NASDAQ up list in July

Good news for sure, because it keeps the ball going in the right direction.
In the grand scheme of things it won't move the stock price too much, but it takes away a talking point for the shorts.

CEO said large scale facility can do up to 350 tons in the artilcle? Seems low.

I think that does not completely fill the building with Hyperions, but yes, I'm concerned about that low number, too. For the sake of argument, let's say that 350 tons equates to 35 Hyperions at 10t per year.

There are several scenarios that I can see for this.

1.) They do not have the contracts and can't justify using their capital on Hyperions for capacity they don't have contracts for, yet.

2.) They don't have the capital. They don't have a ton of capital, yet. They reaised $30M recently, but that's not nearly enough to open a huge production facility AND build a hundred or more Hyperions. Maybe, they are planning on offering discounts to customers who front the money to build the Hyperions needed to fulfill the order. Maybe they are going to borrow the money and don't want to pay interest until necessary.

3.) This is an acquisition play. They clearly don't have the capital to scale up quickly, nor do they have a management team that has a lot of manufacturing experience. They may be trying to set the table for another company with the ability and capital to build a bajillion Hyperions and take this to the next level.

4.) They are being sly like a fox and have a plan/customers/financing, but are waiting until just before the NASDAQ listing to announce it in order to ampify the effect on the stock price.

Of those options, it seems to me that option 1 or 3 is the most likely.

Did I miss any possibilities?

It’s seems the next gen reactors produce over 20t per year.

350t out of 15 of them.

I hope they dont wait for those to be designed/developed. I hope they start by pumping out the current size as fast as they can...

I am ok with the drop as I’m waiting for some IRA dollars to convert and post so I can buy another block as Roth.

Neither, I think. Just means there aren’t many people ready to make a move for whatever reason.
