Catholic NI loses to Barbe 49-24.
0-3 start to the year with a brutal schedule. I'd be surprised if they lose again until the playoffs though.

Yeah, he said they were going to “shock the world” this year (they were finally playing somebody instead of Sisters of the Poor and he thought it would be the same results ). That was bulletin board material for Mandeville. Hannan was waving white flag in 3rd quarter. Wattigny won’t be talking so big for a while.

Was at game. West Monroe let Longview move the ball up and down the field to burn clock, to then allow them to self destruct through penalties or the fact Haynes couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. The dude being a 4 or 5 star quarterback is the most ridiculous thing ever. Game should have been long over multiple times and he couldn't connect to his receivers.
Otherwise it was a dominating performance by the rest of the Longview team. They will lose this uear in the playoff without question because of his arm.

If you told me there was a 5 star on Longview’s team, I would’ve thought it was the RB or #4 the safety. 7 ran HARD every time he got the ball. His 91 yard touchdown was legit as legit gets. Might see it on Max Preps at some point.
Longview’s 3 scoring drives: 65 yards with 40ish yards in penalties. 91 yard TD run first play. 60-70 yard drive ending in a FG.
I don’t foresee them winning it all.

#4 for West Monroe was the best player on the field in my opinion. That kid is legit.

Went to the game also and if I didn't know beforehand I wouldn't have thought he was even going to be playing in college much less the top ranked dual threat in the country. He's a better punter than QB in my opinion
