I understand what you are saying, but there's an ocean wide difference between no turnovers and 5 turnovers.

Of all the teams that you'd benefit from making them work hard and drive the field...Denver is at the top.

It is what it is...another long offseason.

When the Rams win the Super Bowl, I'll be right again.

Bills average 28 pts per game in the playoffs with Allen and McDermott

That would be good for 3rd in the nfl right now

Bills average giving up 25 pts per game in the playoffs under McDermott and Allen

That would be good for 25th in the nfl right now

That’s pathetic for a defensive coach

From a distance, I see a pretty mediocre roster on the Bills.

To convince me McDermott is the problem, you'd have to show me that their defense is actually very talented and underperforming.

Surprising move for sure. I don’t think there’s anyone better on the market. Maybe they go for a young unproven coach.

It’s going to be Brady as Head Coach. They will just promote him and hire a good DC.

Watch.

every star QB except Brady and Mahomes has had a bad luck with their defense in the playoffs.

You just admitted they were decimated by injuries on defense

And Josh allen gave up 6 of those points himself.

Its a scapegoat firing.

The problem is that they are not firing the GM as well.

Sounds like Daboll is the guy they have in mind here

Fine with it

Beane is the problem. 50+ drafted players since 2018 and only 2 have made the pro bowl

Beane should not be allowed to frick up this hire like he fricked up the roster

Joe Brady > Daboll though?

Can’t imagine Bills fans would be excited about hiring a coach with a 20-40 record

I’m not a fan of Brady, personally. I think he handcuffs Allen with his lateral passing game. That might be because Beane has him throwing to WRs off the street, though

Personally I would want a fresh voice in the room if I’m making this move. Not sure how much things change by just adding in the same OC or a previous one

It’s probably the right call. He’s a good coach, but you couldn’t just run it back again. Could be a situation like when Tony Dungy was fired and John Gruden was hired for Tampa Bay. Sometimes you just need that guy who can get you over the hump.

Now I don’t know if there’s a Gruden out there to hire. And the GM needs to do something this year. They need to bring in a playmaker like a pass rusher or WR or something.

I wonder if they’d trade a pick for Matt LeFluer? And I bet Stefanski is kicking himself!

I don’t know much about offensive philosophy, but it seems like this compliments his skills well.

He still attacks downfield and extends plays that opens up deep crossers and that stuff.

But don’t they also force defenses to defend sideline to sideline which allows Allen to crush them on runs up the middle?
