Good lesson for the kids out there. It pays to be the one that talks to the boss daily.

That’s awful, again
I thought he did an admirable job with minimal talent

Klint Kristopher Kubiak is the likely hire

Personally I would want a fresh voice in the room if I’m making this move. Not sure how much things change by just adding in the same OC or a previous one
Yeah, to make firing him make sense it seems like you'd hire an offensive coach from outside the Bills family. I hate when a team fires a guy for the sake of change, but then they don't actually change.
Might not be a popular pick but I'd go with McCarthy and a DC to handle the other side of the ball. Allen is 30 next season and I'd want a proven guy for these next few years while he's still at his peak.

The only retarded thing is that they didn’t do this sooner
A different coach wasn’t going to stop Allen from spotting opponents scores and turning the ball over in scoring range.

Different coach probably could have come up with a scheme to stop KC for 13 seconds though

When you have a star QB, are you not generally going to concentrate more payroll around him?
People like to talk about defensive coaches with star Qbs not having great teams, but there’s only so much payroll to go around. If you are spending extra on a star Qb, an Oline to protect him, and playmakers to complement then at some point your defensive payroll has to suffer right?
It seems common sense that a team with a lower end Qb could likely have more money for a great defense?

they need to fire the GM, their starting WR is someone the Saints cut mid season

From a distance, I see a pretty mediocre roster on the Bills. To convince me McDermott is the problem, you'd have to show me that their defense is actually very talented and underperforming.
Or that McDermott argued that all is well, blamed the refs and wanted to run it back with his guys
And beane said no
I also am curious about the midseason trade for a wr and if McDermott vetoed it.

This is fricking insane. Beane is much more of a reason this team sucks than McDermott.

There's a few teams that could have significantly upgraded it's playoff hopes by trading for Olave...with Buffalo being the most obvious.
Hindsight is 20/20 but Allen isn't trying to be Superman if he's got a WR that can win most of the time.

You just admitted they were decimated by injuries on defense
That’s for 2 games out of FIFTEEN IN THE PLAYOFFS

Then why fire him this year? This is a pretty easy year to handle wave given the injuries bills had to deal with. Then you take into account it being Josh's worst playoff game in years.
The bills have been thisclose to a super bowl appearance and have only lost to a dynasty and Joe Burrow before Saturday.
The gm is fricking awful. This wasnt a coaching issue, its a personnel issue. You had to sign brandin cooks off the street because of it.
