is he injury prone because he has bad luck, or is it because he gets the shite beat out of him due to a crappy oline?

Why do people who are reasonably smart in normal life, make iodiotic, overeactive statements when it comes to sports?

We are talking about two games into a season.

Good summary, however, Tua is 0-1 in the playoffs. Dolphins haven't won a playoff game in 25 years I think.

It’s not an either or, he hurt his calf in practice running by himself and said he heard a pop in his wrist a couple years go throwing a TD pass.

David Carr was sacked more than any QB in history his first 5 years with the expansion Texans. He started every game 4 of 5 years the year he didn’t start every game he never missed more than 2 in a row, so no serious injuries

Little bit of both plus other factors

Yeah his OL sucks and it would really help if he didn’t play behind a crappy line

However, Burrow’s style of play has always involved hero ball. Which given his talent usually results in big plays for him. But the downside is he opens himself up to getting hit more. Compare that to the guys like Manning, Brady, Brees, etc who all would drop quickly to the ground for likely sacks. Not that they never took big hits or didn’t try sometimes to maneuver in the pocket, but they mastered the art of knowing when and HOW to go down. They limited just how many big hits they took over the course of 15-20 years

But I don’t think that’s just a Burrow problem. A lot of these QBs these days play hero ball because they are more athletic.

You need to dig deeper and look at their ypa, td% and int%. Beyond those stats, their play styles are very similar in the concepts they like to throw and how they progress through their reads. They both have a tendency to hold onto the ball too long attempting to make a play and that leads to increases in sacks and injuries.

You don’t have to like that they are extremely similar players but that doesn’t change the fact that they are.

Ok advantage Burrow

Burrow y/a 7.4 TD 5.5 int 1.8
Tua 7.6 4.9 2.2

This may all be true but similar play style doesn’t mean equal players. Tua is very good, Burrow is better and while both have had great injuries Burrow has played 3 complete seasons vs just 1 for Tua.

It’s you not me that’s making it personal due to bias. Tua is very good, Burrow is better don’t take my word for it, ask NFL analyst and executives.

when you can’t win an argument with stats or facts resort to name calling

Is PFF biased too?

LINK

How about SI?

LINK

That’s just 2 literally every outside source ranks Burrow top 5-8. You don’t have to like it but that doesn’t change the fact the NFL and people who cover it rank Burrow as better

Their play styles and careers are remarkably similar. Take off the college rivalry glasses and you’ll see that.

Brother, your bias on this topic began in 2019 when you hailed Herbert and Tua as the big 2 of that class and said Burrow would be a bust.

That was your entire personality on this website before you got banned. Conveniently were banned during an incredible 3 year stretch for Burrow, where he has been established himself in the top echelon of NFL quarterbacks.

You have dug your heels into an incorrect opinion. You look incredibly stupid.
