I’m more encouraged now against this vaunted Yankees lineup than I was going into the series. They’re not so scary anymore and they know they should have been swept at home.

I don’t think I’ve seen such a lopsided split series where one team outplayed the other so completely. Dusty of course made some horrible insane decisions, especially today.

Good game fellas

I only downvote because you must be a Yankees fan. Still hoping for an OB meet up at your ranch.

Dude. It was in NY and they literally needed divine intervention to split

Talk come playoff time

If you’re old enough to even remember when the Yankees won a significant playoff game

Laughing at you mah man

I’ve been a Yankees fan since ‘85. I’m sure I remember a lot of significant games, wins and losses.

We're gonna butt frick the Yankees in the playoffs. Per usual. If they make it that far.

Not a team that scares me whatsoever. Only Dusty scares me.

Alright, flushed can’t overcome bad managing

Coming out of that series the Astros are at worst as good as the Yankees. Yankees aren’t the world beaters their record says they are. Judge is great rest of it is extremely navigable. Their starters are pretty good and the A bullpen is real

Astros also are who they are, starting pitching is real, bullpen is good not great, and offense has massive holes and can’t hit in the clutch

Astros starting pitching us legit
Astros bullpen is a worry
Astros 1-6 is fantastic
Astros 7-9 are bad

It was a great series against 2 good clubs, Astros controlled most of it and Yankees put themselves in position late each game to win, made a couple clutch hits to split it. Still a lot of season to see how things shake up.

Yep they are definitely even. And I’m doing the Yankees a disservice but saying it’s navigable, they put up really tough at bats but outside of Judge there’s really no consistent damage.

Great series, fun to get fired up over games in June it’s just maddening someone sitting and watching in the dugout had such an impact over the results. Truly grossly incompetent to be in the position he is in

I’m not a Yankees fan; I just hate the Astros because they cheat. And they choke non-stop. I am a Reds fan so my hatred for the Astros go way back. Should have swept the Yankees, but got owned by Aaron Judge.

There's one guy. One damn guy in that fricking lineup that you can't let beat you with 2 outs and the winning run in scoring position. And he happens to have a .220 hitter batting behind him. Take your chances of getting Rizzo out.

Dusty Baker will never win a world series because of shite like that. shite like pinch hitting an MVP candidate with 2 outs bases empty and a .096 hitter behind him, knowing that if you get through the 9th you could PH him with the ghost runner on in the 10th. shite like pulling the best stuff guy in your bullpen after only 1 batter when you're already working with a gassed pen.
