I'm so tired of watching guys who don't throw strikes. Jesus.

It's time to start questioning him, yes.

He's off pretty much every other relief appearance, on average. I don't know if he can find his command without being a consistent starter.

I agree. I don't think Strom gets enough criticism. Some of these relievers are just bags of shite. But Javier is one of these guys that has great stuff and just needs refinement. Where is this great coaching?

He’s okay 2 out of every 3 appearances.

Did anyone see anything other than fastballs those last two batters? I didn’t. Who’s fricking calling pitches? Is it maldy and Castro? If so, strom needs to kick some arse.

And then there's the approach. Abreu is known to have shite control. So you come out and call for a first-pitch off-speed pitch and he's not even close.

Javier feeling the heat of added relievers and those coming off IL

He threw a middle middle 95 FB on 3-2 to Kelenic, a .112 hitter BTW, and he fouled it off

And he fricking walked him anyway

Graveman is about to make every reliever outside of Pressly look for their nutsack, find their balls, or go the frick home

He’s been pretty good the last few weeks IMO before today

He has the ability to usually pitch through wildness but he's consistently inconsistent with his command.

Maldonado also called for about 12 straight fastballs when Javier couldn't locate them. Their beloved "pitcher's best friend" is part of the problem.

No thanks. I’m not going to get suckered in. He’s fine as one of the last guys in your bullpen but he scares the living shite out of me in situations like that one

He has a ton of potential if he corral the command but right now it’s a coin toss
