The swing decisions are not always great but that’s part of his game and was before this year. That’s definitely made it harder with his timing off though. I do think he is historically the type where when it clicks the productivity comes in bunches, they need it right now with who they have out
His body language and mannerisms are sometimes terrible. Not in a “I don’t give a shite” way, but you can tell he really beats himself up when things are not going well

After signing Tayler Scott, the Astros are running it back with Hector Nerris according to Ari Alexander. Scrapping the bottom to find some RHP relief help.
Not Astros related, but AL related, Clarke Schmidt popped and is heading to TJ. Tough blow for the Yankees he’d been pretty damn consistent

You could tell he was pressing. If we could freaking get healthy, he can settle into the 6-hole or lower (with the right LHH trade, the two-headed catcher monster, Jake or any combo of these in front of him).

Happy to report Chas is still doing Chas things, went 0-4 with 3Ks and GIDP

Whitcomb is rookie status with options and no position.

Was there a game last night? I saw they televised the Astros batting practice.
I did some number-crunching and analyzed some data and have concluded that after the 18 run outburst last night, we aren't due to score another run until some time after the All-Star break...

Thanks guys, cracked up seeing a save in a 17 run game.

I love that you can go on X and it’s littered with clips of Fatass Soto looking like a fool in right, but you post the one play he actually made. Then you post a picture of a rare miscue of the best in the game instead of one of the many web gems made my THE JUDGE. Posting like a liberal.

Costanza was optioned and our old pal Hector Neris is joining the team in LA. I'm not ready for the Neris tightrope act. Load the bases before striking out two guys on back to back full counts.
