How can a team this bad have a 4 game division lead with 3 weeks to play?

I certainly did not see 8 runs coming. Of course we did have a lot of help from the Yankee pen. But I’ll take it.

I am going to do myself a favor and not rewatch the last strike call. I will just live in belief that Boone destroyed the TV in whatever office he was watching the game in.

Christmas came early for the Astros. Boone is awful.

This game is everything wrong with this team.

They just could t find a way to frick it up this time. Yankees out oofed the Astros, although it was close.

This Astros team is going to get trounced in the wild card round. Again.

It sure takes a mighty effort for these guys to win a ball game.

Seattle's offense has gone to shite and so has their pitching. They suck on the road. I think they are 3-12 on their last 2 road trips east

Yankees have scored 14 runs in the series. 13 on homers.

Other than Judge, this team is homerun or strikeout. It's cool to see all those homers, but they cannot make basic plays on defense. Terrible. Kinda like Tennessee/Ole Miss football, run tempo, trash a bunch of bad teams, then is complete garbage against elite teams.

At least your shite scores runs. We hit a bunch of singles and then ground into double plays.

Just finished watching the game. That was a roller coaster ride. RIP Arrighetti, unreal.

Finally get Dubon out of the lineup and got a win. RIP, Chas. You were a real one. Yed looking great, nice to have a stud in the lineup again. Every time I’m ready to write Peña off, he drags nuts on someone. Fart hit the ball hard and drew a timely walk, he can hang for a minute or two while we sort things out. Nice single by Vic to get the rally started and hustle by Melton to score from second base after coming in to pinch run. We don’t always score from second on outfield hits when at home. Abreu needs to do better. Correa with a timely hit after being lost for a while, seems like he hasn’t been able to hit anything down and has been swinging wildly out of the zone. Altuve needs another break, he’s going through it right now.
