People don't even go to the Pels games, NOLA ain't getting a new franchise. And we don't deserve one
I agree with the whole no MLB team, but if the Pelicans were actually good then attendance would not be a problem.

New Orleans would never support it. We're just not diehard for every sport like Boston, New York, etc. This is a football city. The Pelicans barely survive.
Boston has 4 major sports teams that have competed and still compete for a championship pretty much every single season.
Is New York really that diehard or is it the fact that NYC has 8 million more people than New Orleans and that the state of New York has 15 million more people than Louisiana.

No one cares because there isnt an MLB team genius. How do you think people felt about basketball before the pigeons got here? Yes they might as well be called that with the name they have now

To be fair if the Marlins had built their new stadium in Palm Beach County instead of Little Havana attendance would not be a problem.
Agreed. I would take my kids several times a month I’d they had it up here. I’m sure as frick not driving all the way down there. There are plenty of professionals in their 30s and 40s with younger families in PBC who would be doing the same. Nobody wants to drive into that shite though, especially to see a crap product.

I’d trade pelicans for Mariners

Yep, agree with Chad, straight up trade with Seattle. Probably works out because New Orleans doesn’t support the Pels and wouldn’t support the Ms either. I don’t think Seattle supports the Ms, but they would the Sonics.

I'm always fascinated by bumps like these.

Because no one gives a frick about MLB in Nola and the ones who do are either "diehard" Astros or Braves fans?
the bandwagon figs from NO acting as "Braves fans" are the worst

NOLA is poor as hell. You really think the city can support another professional franchise. Besides that, if it's not a playoff game, MLB games are boring as hell to me.

Population. Nola's metro area only has 1.3 million people.
