I can't imagine anyone on the board knowing this, but is Liangelo still facing charges in China. If so, I'd imagine he's had free legal representation by someone affiliated with UCLA. It doesn't seem wise for him to try and go this alone, but maybe he's already gotten his China situation worked out.
They could sentence him to death for all they want, he ain't going back.

LaMelo gonna go to USC
Doesn't LaMelo already have his own shoe? Don't think he'll ever be eligible for college sports.

Liangelo was like the 250th ranked recruit in his class, had basically no shot at ever making the NBA or being a big time college star... and yet he’s the most talked about player in college hoops.
so basically he needed a college education for his future, but Lavar yanked him out of school, so he's essentially given his son the option of being a leech off his brothers. Nice.

Yeah, Lonzo better be the real deal now.
His entire family is riding on him having a long career.

What a tool. I didn’t think he graded high enough to be a NBA prospect?

This is going to make for one hellva 30 for 30 on the Ball family

LaVar Ball said that that the plan is still for LaMelo Ball - ESPN's seventh-ranked player in the class of 2019 -- to go to UCLA. LaMelo verbally committed to attend UCLA in two years. However, a source at UCLA told ESPN's Arash Markazi that this is probably the end for the Ball family at the school.
Getting your sons blacklisted from UCLA.
This is just gold.

How, as a scholarship basketball player, do you let your father remove you from the university you're attending?
That is pathetic.

Where are our LaVar supporting friends and why haven't they shown up to tell us that we're stupid for questioning what this guy does?

I'd do everything in my power to stay away from my dad at this point. Keeping a low profile and staying my arse at my awesome college would be the first in that.

Do you blame parents when their children kill?
WTF would you blame children when their father is some kind of sociopath?

Liangelo Ball will never be a star. But he could have kept his head down and just been a seldmon-used bench player for UCLA. He could have gotten a good degree and done something for himself.

Well, two of them are technically adults, and though their dad is embarrassing them and making their lives harder, none of them seem man enough to tell him to frick off.

King Lavar is on CNN right now. Cuomo is no match and Lavar remains undefeated, NEVER LOST.

Exactly what I'm thinking. At what point does one of his kids stand up and tell him to butt out? Pulling your kid out of junior high to move him to the school across town is one thing. This dude's in college, what right does his dad have to pull him out? These kids must be scared to death of him.

This dude took his youngest out of HS, and has jeopardized his eligibility.
He's taken his middle son out of UCfrickINGLA when he could have had the time of his life playing basketball, getting better, and going to school.
Then he goes and talks about how the Lakers aren't coaching his oldest the correct way.
I get that some around here find him entertaining, and I guess that's fine.
But he's fricking up. He's really fricking up, and can't handle this fame.
