I know this is the baseball thread, but anyone know what happened in the Curtis vs Jena championship softball game? i hear there was some kind of controversy

Calls for illegal pitches for Curtis and only one sided. Jena pitcher was doing the same thing. Fans were getting rowdy. That is until Curtis scored 9 in the 6th to end it. Umps have to much control

John Curtis was probably recruiting

Curtis had a solid senior class this year in softball. There is still a lot of athleticism returning next year though.
Curtis baseball is best it's been in a while and should easily make it to the finals.

Considering the only 3A and below team that has beaten them is on the other side of the bracket they have a good shot. Playing those good local 4A and 5A schools will help a lot down the stretch.

Have they played all the other 3A teams in the bracket? Its easy to only lose to one team in the bracket if you haven't played the other teams in the bracket.

And one team in their bracket - beat the team that beat them....
And they didn't make it out of the quarters in AA last year......so they are easily going to the finals now....

Does anyone know about Class B Holden?
My nephew plays for #1 seed Monterey in Class B. They play Holden in the second round Tuesday. Holden beat them 12-2 earlier in the year but my nephew was hurt so he couldn't pitch. I don't know the name of the Holden pitcher from that game but is supposedly a ULL signee that was throwing around 90 or so I was told but is hurt now. Monterey's other starting pitcher has really progressed since the beginning of the season and struck out 14 to beat then #1 Grace Cristian.
Just wondering if anyone has any info on Holden since I can't find much info anywhere.

They never played their likely quarterfinal opponent who just so happens to run shite in 3A.

So did they let Livonia back in?

What do you want to know?
Is their best pitcher hurt? If he is, I hope it's not too serious. Especially if he has an offer to play collegiate ball. How is their pitching besides him?
