I'll be at the University v. Dunham game. Hopefully Dunham gives them a better game than Capitol.

Sorry I missed last week, was watching the Baker/Parkview Mala but had someone there who kept me up to date with what was going on. I wonder what the coach of central will pull out of his "hat" this week for his Defense. I am sure he has something good. Hats off to the offense, it seemed they had the wheels on early. That will always help a defense when the offense gets a good start. I am sure it will be a good game if everyone keeps their cool. My suggestion to Central and Denham, as well as the other Baton Rouge teams and surrounding areas, play your game, play the play and go back to the huddle, keep your emotions in check. Hint: I would not be surprised if there wasn't a meeting with officials to talk about some of the on-field issues this past week and they are going to be strict going into this week of play. Just saying. Play hard this week.

Just want to give a mention to the Avoyelles Mustangs and their 7-0 start. Great season for a school that's had little success in football.
Avoyelles @ Marksville in Week 10 should be awesome.

If central comes out hyped like they did against Zachary, I got central by a touchdown. #2 for central will be a handful for Denham. He is very speedy and I haven't seen the speed to match up on Denham's D.

But 2-0 in district.
I think their hot streak might be coming to an end this week.

Can beat EA and St. Amant, but Dutchtown would be the upset of the year.

IDK, our JV beat them 52-12 last night, and both their scores were essentially flukes by the same kid. And U-High turned it over inside their 10 twice I think. Dunham beat Capitol 8-2, U-High was ahead of Capitol 42-0 with six minutes left in the first half last week when we put our JV in for the rest of the game. Could be ugly.

officials let a couple of kids and coaches for baker get out of hand last week.. nip it in bud and they finish that game without incident.
