When Ohtani was coming to MLB his requirement was to play for a west coast team. No reason to believe that has changed.

The Mets will throw everything they have at him I’m sure but this is the type of guy the Dodgers and Giants won’t be shy about committing a ton of money to. Feels like he ends up with one of them

Escobar and Canha have team options, so probably, yes.

Corrasco's $14m will be gone as well

Saving for Ohtani.

Trade and extend or just sign next offseason.

And if they don't get Ohtani?

Scott Boras strikes again. Even a team that wants to overspend recklessly doesn't want to deal with him.

Something tells me the Dodgers will still be okay without him.

Probably, but that's the quietest and underwhelming off-season they have had in a while. Definitely by the standards they have set themselves.

Looks like the Bauer saga is going down to the wire. Any chance they actually keep him?

They'd be stupid not to. Hes going to pitch for someone this season. Might as well be the Dodgers since they're paying him.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are designating right-hander Trevor Bauer for assignment, sources tell ESPN.

The Dodgers will eat $22.5 million. Bauer can sign with any major league team for the $720,000 minimum and can play immediately after completing a record-long suspension.

Dodgers need Bauer this year

Dodgers get Ohtani next year

The media is working hard on getting the Correa to Mets deal done. They are beating Boras up working for Cohen

No chance the Mets don’t get a steal on Correa on a shorter term deal
