Yeah, Arozarena is a good player too, and Rasmussen is a great #2, but the Rays are very very shallow it seems.

Off the bag IMO
I'm not disagreeing with the call standing, I'm disagreeing with the call.
Either way, no way they win the next game and even if they do I'd rather get eliminated by the Guards over the Yanks

The Rays have gone all in on the platoon thing and I think we are seeing the limits of it. Lowe is really good and is hurt as well
They are always going to have to try something that's "different" because they won't spend money. Their success is dependent on that and needing a solid crop of young talent graduating to the majors all at once.

Played like shite all year. Half arse effort. It's like he doesn't want to be in Tampa. I almost can't blame him.

Admittedly I don't watch a lot of Rays games... but 72/20/89/32 are some solid counting stats. He strikes out way too much though.

Yeah if you did you'd know
Thrown out on the basepaths all year stealing when he definitely shouldn't. Jogs to hits in the outfield allowing extra bases. Fighting teammates.
He was one of my favorite Rays before this season. He's still good. Like I said, he seems to have checked out on Tampa.

Not much he can really do about that since his arb years haven't even started yet.
Also, I had no idea that he was already 27 years old. Dude won't hit free agency until he is 32. That sucks for him.

Mariners making it interesting

both are using up their pens

Jay’s brining in their closer, for a 6 out save. Your season is over if you lose so why not.

Bases juiced no outs. M’s are grinding

Mariners got the juice. Would love to see them make it to the World Series.

Postseason baseball is just this best.

God I love George Springer. Hope he’s okay. Only knows one speed

Baseball players are more dramatic than soccer players.

Got him. 9-9, going to the bottom of the 8th.
