It's a crappy game and by no means is Washington some elite type of team but they were 3-13 last year and was one of the worst positioned franchises in all of sports.
Going 7-9 - even in a bad division - and suddenly having an elite defense and making it to the playoffs is a huge accomplishment for the team considering where they were just a year ago.
And they're 11-5 with Smith as a starter. Even as poor as he has played in some of his starts.
