Brees accuracy was absolutely talent though

You’re probably using the casual fan definition of accuracy here - completion percentage. Most NFL QBs don’t have any real difference in arm accuracy. What separates their completion percentage is the things out of their control (scheme/playcalling/receiving talent) and their mental game (reading coverage pre and post snap, identify the correct read, the time of their throw, and the positioning of the ball).

Now arm strength, that can be a generational talent because it’s an unreachable talent.

I wanted to disagree with him as usual, but this time he actually has a point

Completely agree! Manning was a top high school player, multi-time all-American and then dominated the NFL!

Manning wasn't even the top QB in the state of Louisiana when he came out of HS (Booty). He was fighting to be 2nd string his freshman year. Then he never beat Florida...

Elway was a supreme athlete in HS snd college. And in the Pros he was just unreal.

Booty was a year behind Manning in HS and Manning became the starter for Tennessee after the 4th game of his Freshman season.

Booty was good but had much much more talent around him than Manning.

Because all three of those guys weren’t generational with that, they’re probably the 3 best of all time.

Ever heard of Joe Montana? Or so many of the QBs of the 60s and 70s that actually called their own plays? Very questionable statement.

So there’s one other guy in the history of the league in their category, thanks for making my point

I’d like to completely disown him as an LSU alum. Does anyone know if he actually got a degree or just exhausted his eligibility?

Why’d he bring up Mahomes then?

not because he's black. Or he wouldn't bring up Elway.

The whole thing is obviously retarded, but the race angle here is just not there.

I guess he forgot they were white?

7 year old clip?

I guess he used to be normal before ESPN decided race-baiting rubbish was the brave new world... They coached Clark up good.

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong point.

You want names? Starr, Bradshaw, Starbauch, Fouts, Stabler, Unitas, and Griese. There are more. These guys understood offense better than modern QBs ever will. Except for Fouts, all won NFL championships. Fouts only initiated the modern passing offense.
