He'd be an idiot to leave for Nebraska.He can finish his career at UK if he chooses plus ALL those advantages Nebraska had during it's heyday (steroids,non qualifiers,"walk-on program" and a pipeline to Texas) are now gone.They do have lots of money and one of the most fiscally successful
programs in CFB

Outside of money, there is no reason for him to leave UK.
He has Kentucky in a really good spot, recruiting way better than they ever do, and with Louisville down thats only going to get better.

Agreed.
Nebraska wasn’t going anywhere this season, and an early October termination doesn’t lose them any ground in terms of a coaching search.
Other than doing a former player a solid in terms of added money, I don’t understand the move this early.

Frost brought in some top 20 classes. They have had the players to win more. The coaching has simply been a disaster.
