I briefly trained with the Ultimate Warrior (Jim Hellwig) in the early 90's and he was an a-hole in every sense, especially in his treatment of women.

Good Shawn Michaels story:

Back when the University of Wisconsin still had a baseball team some team members went to a WWF event. One of the players was hated by many on the team and the story is he was heckling Michaels throughout his match to the point where they exchanged words. Word has it that Michaels tracked the guy down after the match and slapped the shite out of him in a corridor and no one would break it up. I didn't witness it but it was relayed to me by others and I do know the guy had two black eyes at practice.

It's funny reading a thread of people who would probably have most people in their lives describe them as not being nice, hold people they don't know to a standard they can't even live by hust because they're an athlete.

Corey Webster

I met his mother and was supposed to meet him but it didn’t work out. I was installing Smartboards at St James High School and they had a huge Christmas feast for the students and staff, all paid for by Corey. His mom still worked there as a teacher. She was super nice.

I spent the better part of an afternoon with Johnny Manziel and his dad or uncle at the Masters one year. He was extremely nice. This was right before he was being drafted I believe.

I've never had a bad experience with a professional athlete. I've also never asked one for an autograph.

Delivered pizzas to Kevin Lockett, Kendall Jacox, and Damian McIntosh when they were at K-State. Jacox told me not to tell anyone about it because Snyder would get pissed at him for eating pizza if word got back to him. He said it in a joking manner but I could tell he was 100% serious.

Met and hung out with Steve Francis and Ameka Okafor at the nightclub on the 50whatever floor of the Mandalay Bay over Labor Day weekend in 2005. Both cool as could be and acted like they had known me all my life. They were standing next to me and I said something (can't remember exactly what) to someone else they were with and it cracked both of them up. I hung out with them for a good two hours. Why wouldn't I? They were the biggest tail magnets in the place literally in Okefor's case and figuratively.

But the best was probably Tom Watson. A friend I went to high school with invited me down to his place for a mountain oyster fry on the weekend of my hometown annual rodeo. He just happened to buy horses from the same guy Watson's wife at the time bought her horses from. He invited the horse seller to the fry and the guy asked him if it would be okay to bring Watson and his wife too. Friend looked at him like someone had just asked the dumbest question in the history of the world. Watson let all the kids that were there chase him around the place with water pistols and let them throw water balloons at him.

I waited on Robert Horry at Dreamland BBQ in BR. He was so chill, and left a nice tip.
