probably Ted Simmons, got in the HOF a while back, still around as far as I know

Several Cards from the 60's have been wiped out in just the last few years - Gibson, Brock, McCarver, and some lesser ones

Are we talking, having seen play or just the oldest that can be recalled. Oldest that I can recall that is still living is Sandy's Koufax.

Every MLB player in history can be connected to Moyer through teammate connections in six steps or fewer. There is a website for it.

that list is outdated.
Joe Morgan is on it and he's been gone for a few years now.

Jim Palmer

Loved those late 60s/early 70s Os teams with Palmer, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Boog Powell, etc.

Saw him about 15 yrs ago randomly in Sports Authority in West Palm Beach.

The man that pitched the opening game of the Houston Astros franchise back when they were known as the Colt 45s is still alive. Man is 100 years old.

Johnny Bench was my favorite baseball player of all time. Bench was a rookie in ‘67, and I was a rookie in Dixie Youth in ‘68. I had a poster of him in my room. (And a Maravich poster).
