Haven’t seen this dog shite since the theaters when I wasted $15 on a ticket

Really think about this for a second. They got freaking Star Wars.
They then decide to make the sequel trilogy which was a great idea. But how?
Let’s have a different director for each movie! And not have an overarching plot!
Force Awakens, despite its flaws, set up something that could have been good if not great.

Well 7 and 9 had the same director but your point still stands. They really fricked it all up.
Should have written the entire trilogy before they started making the first movie. Hell they should have filmed them all before they released the first one so they could make any changes needed once they saw how shitty it was

I mustve wiped that scene from my memory. I don't think I ever finished IX tho if it was in that one I probably missed it.
Although it does sound like the longest they might have gone without screwing something up.
I did like VII but the 3rd movie lost me 1/3rd of the way in.

For how bad Rise of Skywalker is, and it's bad, it's still miles more competent than The Last Jedi. That's not to prop Rise of Skywalker up. It's legit laughably bad. But The Last Jedi might be the worst actual legitimate movie I've ever seen and the casino scene might be the single worst scene of said caliber of movie that has ever existed

I was referencing the casino scene.
The worst part of XIII was waiting two or three years for the movie to see how Luke would respond to Rey, only for him to comically throw the lightsaber over his shoulder. Then he drank some milk from an alien cow tit.

Nah..let’s don’t sugar coat it. Force Awakens was shite.
Leia was still one of the Rebels. How? They beat the Empire….she should’ve been chancellor. Do we think after RotJ that she wouldn’t be worshipped by the whole galaxy?
Where TF did the First Order come from? The Empire was defeated….would the Senate allow a new oppressor to arise?
Han Solo was a hero of the galaxy…but he’s back smuggling? I don’t have an issue with him being killed by Ren but we missed a Luke, Leia and Han reunion.
How TF did they gut a whole planet and create a planet killing death ray without anyone noticing? Just because we needed something to blow up again?
Luke’s storyline was the only one that made sense to me. Disappearing and coming to the conclusion that the Jedi were basically the source of all fallen Jedi and deciding that this whole thing needs to end.
They should’ve flipped the plot where Ren and some unknown Sith Lord were now the Rebels causing trouble, gathering Empire loyalists and Leia needed to figure out what was going on. Build from there. Maybe Luke learns this new Sith Lord came to power organically or through some other ancient Sith source and decides the Jedi are needed to combat them….so he gets his groove back. I dunno.
I’ve said it before that a few people from this Board could come up with a better 3 movie plot than what we got.

I love how Rey kills Kylo then immediately regrets it and heals him.
Best part was when red girl tells Rey “not that it matters, but I like you” after she threatens to blow Jason Isaac’s brains out and gets submitted by Rey’s light saber.
And let’s not backup 3POs memory before it gets wiped. We’ll just say R2 is unreliable and for some reason there’s no other possible way to backup his memory. So stupid.
