Let's not go too far. Violet was played by Tori Spelling. While not unattractive, she couldn't hold a candle to the other regular women on the show.

I'm that way with Jennifer Garner. I can't point to any one thing that's unattractive, she's got all the right parts in the right places, but I just see her as 'nice looking'
As for peak Buffy (SMG), she could be ordinary cute to crazy hot by how she was dressed and wore her hair. She was full on iconic in that show.
