Second biggest offense was Grey Worm deciding the fate of Jon. I mean who cares if he wants him gone. Grey Worm, really? Whotf cares about what this dude wants.
This was the biggest hangup for me. I hated how they ended Jon's story last night but after thinking on it, he never really wanted the throne. But that should have been for him to decide. The biggest story line in the show as Jon's parentage. They should have basically chosen Jon based on his claim, then he says he doesn't want it and they need to figure it out. I also didn't like the fact that it was the Starks, who value family and honor over almost everything, that were the ones that sold Jon out.

Bran the broken is king but not really.
But he is literally the king of 6 kingdoms, with the north being independent. He IS the king. What about him being the 3 Eyed Raven who can't be lord of this or that?

The small council meetings with Tyrion and Bran will be hilarious, I would love a show just with those.
The small council was tough television to watch.

John was never destined to be on the Iron Throne
We wasted how many seasons talking about throne lineage and his actual ancestry?

The way the ended the show was really perfect.
We must have watched two different shows.

The second she threatened Winterfeld as her next conquest, John was going to act.
Did you even watch the show? He refused until Tyrion basically had to beat it into his skull.

The way he did it was pretty good writing in my opinion. It was consistent with his character arch.
He went from badass to puss in about a season and a half.

All-in-all, given only six episodes to wrap it up, they did do pretty good.
Except HBO gave them a blank check and the writers wanted this over with

All Hail to Bran the Broken!

Oh, and I'm sure it's been mentioned in 41 pages, but when, in fricking 7 seasons and 5 episodes have we EVER had any indication that Tyrian gave the first damned thought about Bran?
When he made Bran tell him about his life before the battle at WF

It's apparent that at least a month past between the death of Dany and the gathering of the rulers of Westeros to decide upon a new autocrat. In that month...you would think Grey Worm would have had both Jon and Tyrion executed for treason against his Queen. Why keep them alive when he wanted justice for the death of the woman who set him free?

Except when he gave his homeland immediate independence so his sister could rule, that's cronyism if I've ever heard of it.
This didn't make sense at all except to give Sansa a nice little ending better than she deserved. Basically all the other kingdoms have no reason to be loyal to the crown. It didn't break the wheel, the wheel is already spinning again and there will be a war before King Bran is even dead. I mean he named a moron with no experience with large amounts of money and an addiction to hookers as the master of coin. His maester can't follow any of the rules for them. Davos is a decent choice. Tyrion has just been full of awful decisions. shite is going to be back to the same old same old in a matter of months.

Except HBO offered 10 for the past two seasons and these frick bags said nah we’ll pump it out in 13. They robbed us of 7 episodes that just might have properly set this shite up.
Last 2 seasons are trash, absolute trash and it’s all because of D&D’s egos.

Also - Bran was the evil mastermind this whole time
Pretty much, but since this season was so rushed, they barely even develop that.

That shite pissed me off bad. Jon should've just looked at Sansa and skipped right on to Arya.

The North’s army was already there.

The spelled that out in the episode.
The thousands of Northerners outside the city who were waiting to kill them if they hurt Jon.

I don’t see what more they could do.
If they attacked KL the u sullied kill Jon instantly.
Ok chance they get to him before Greyworm.
What’s annoying to me is that the only other living creature that knew Jon killed Dany was Drogon who flew away and also was a dragon.

How the frick does Sansa get to tell people her kingdom will be independent no questions asked?
it's pretty obvious to anyone watching the show that some time had passed between the killing of Dany and the meeting of the house lords. I think it's pretty safe to assume that Sansa met with the northern lords prior to heading to KL with their consensus being that they wouldn't accept anything other than being an independent region.
There are a lot of things to question and bitch about, but this isn't one of them.

Yeah...one month later. Why didn't Grey Worm kill Jon as soon as he discovered that he had assassinated his queen?

Why did we waste so much time focusing on Jon the first 7.4 seasons of this show? I mean two seasons ended with the reveal that 1) he wasn't Ned Stark's bastard and 2) he was the heir to the Iron Throne. I mean we sent two pivotal characters, Jon and Sam, to places really far away just to come up with this information. There was literally no purpose of Bran or Sam's story but to converge on this information. Jon becomes the center of three of the four major battles in the history of the show. He is constantly elevated up in leadership position. THE ENTIRE SHOW REVOLVES AROUND JON.
Series finale: let's choose a king...how bout the creepy cripple kid? What about the only character every single one of us has had significant emotional attachments with, is a great leader, and is actually the heir to the iron throne? Nope, he'll take the black and end up exactly where he started.

We shouldn't have to assume or generate theories to explain away why something so important occurred and went over without a hitch. Dorne and the Iron Islands have always been fiercely independent. Why didn't they, too, declare their independence if the North could get away with it?

I am here, a major critic of this final season, with some final thoughts. (though too many to go through right now)
I have no problem with the end game. sure i would want to see some things different as it is bitter sweet. like wtf Bran, really? doens't care for anything, but showed up for the throne. fricking what!
my grievance does not lie there totally however, it lies in how we got here.
i feel like the last 7 seasons of one of the most complex and interesting shows were completely tossed aside in an effort to end the show in 6 episodes. They dug a hole too deep for them to fill in proper time. i imagine if they redid the show they would simply cut out branches of the story.
i will miss the show. i will miss the characters. it was a good ride.
i look forward to Dany being revived by a red priestess and laying waste to Westeros.
