Home Alone actor Daniel Stern has been cleared of a misdemeanor prostitution solicitation charge. The case against Stern was dismissed Friday in Ventura, CA, according to online court records.
Stern was issued a citation but not arrested on December 10, 2025 following a police sting operation at a Camarillo hotel. He was charged last month with a single misdemeanor charge of engaging or agreeing to engage in prostitution. If convicted he could have faced up to six months in jail and up to a $1,000 fine.
“The defendant did what he was supposed to do,” a representative for the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office told TMZ. “He completed his education class and earned a dismissal. This is our standard disposition for first-time prostitution offenses.”

It really is insane. If he just takes a camera and videos it, he's "making porn" and it then becomes completely okay for him to pay for sex.
Not saying I agree with filming porn, but it's an inconsistent standard in our laws.
