Footloose and Top Gun.

For non vocals 1-2 my choice would be Vangelis for Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire.

Who else has a resume like that?

If we’re talking scores, then take your pick of any number of John Williams movies.

But I assume you’re talking actual songs. Vangelis’s Chariots song broke the top 40.

I love me some Kenny Loggins and I’ll raise you his Caddy Shack stuff. But, just to be different, how about Survivor with Eye of the Tiger and Burning Heart from the Rocky movies?

How long has it been for the "caddyshack II" answer?

Or was it Double Jeopardy?

Back in time is the superior song IMO

ETA can we include this is it by Kenny loggins? Was the 1980 and 81 theme for March madness. Makes a foursome with caddyshack

"Dare" and "The Touch" are about as kick arse as 80s soundtrack songs can be.

Kenny Loggins also had "Playing With the Boys" on the Top Gun soundtrack

Don't sleep on "I'm Free", also from Footloose.

This is Kenny Loggins at Daryl Hall's house with some band members talking about his run of Caddyshack, Footloose and Top Gun.

Youtube

The song they play after isn't any of these, but he talks about it in the beginning.
