How does Tommy still have a work truck?
Last two episodes covered about 24 hours. Doubt repossessing his truck was a top priority for MTEX.

Tommy has to make so much money that he buys a big cattle ranch. The storyline will be oil, horses, and cattle. Maybe making this about cattle is reason they are not filming the four 6s

Yeah, Cami has a number of reasons to claim ownership of their whole operation. (Use of truck, plane, work performed by M-Tex even if repaid.) If he had asked her to sell him those leases back she may well have agreed but going behind her back and poaching key employees probably wouldn't play well. In real life she would definitely have recourse. But plot armor is a powerful thing.

S2E9, is this bitch really bawling crying and melting down over the daughter going to cheer camp?? GD Sheridan sucks at writing women.

I absolutely hated this season, but I watched anyway, and I really really liked the season finale. Tied up everything very well.

Season finale was great. I thought they were fixing to ruin it with a Tommy heart attack when he started chewing aspirin, but it wrapped up nicely, while leaving plenty of storyline for next season.
As I was watching the cheer camp scene, I 100% knew someone was going to point out that girl- she was hard to miss!

Looks like Taylor Sheridan did it again
Everyone will be back watching season 3

She’s not even the finest on the show.

Was thinking this also.
Tommy did mention to Angela in the last scene that something major would happen in their lives.
The aspirin chewing, conversation with Angela, Copper being named President. Alot of foreshadowing going on here.

Liked the episode but what about the house? Mtex owned it. Ate they going to split up or shack up?
And of course they ask have to turn in trucks
But we will see CTT and castle trucks next year.
.i like that he grabbed the ateam crew from Mtex.

Oh I rewound that scene.

This is all accurate and I think we'll see it play out next season. Cami wouldn't have known MTex had anything to do with the operation, but covering the drilling expense of $40 mil won't be missed by any accounting team and neither will the attempted payoff of the advance at $44 mil.
I don't think it will matter if no agreement was done. MTex covered the expenses and provided the crew. I think her reaction will depend on how her deep sea project goes, and the saltiness from losing top employees to Tommy.

That finale was great. Might be the best episode of the series. Season 2 floundered but they stuck the landing.

It took me all the way to the end of Season 2 to realize that Monty was the character who took the show from good to great, so that's why Season 2 was good but not great. I'll definitely watch Season 3 but it will probably be good like Season 2 but not great like Season 1.
The black driller with the rolex is definitely dying in Season 3 though. They have it all queued up. If there was a Landman death pool, I would take him and give everybody else the field.

Season 1 was far superior but Season 2 finale was very good and kinda helped to redeem itself. First few episodes of Season 3 should be good plenty of material to work through.

Taylor Sheridan isn't the greatest at details. Cami is so far out or depth it's almost comical and her closet people in the company quit on her. She has no one to lean on.
The stupidest thing to happen next season is for the off-shore to actually hit. It needs to be an epic failure as Tommy said it would and Motex be dissolved. I want Cami out of of the story. She's really no longer needed with the direction they've take the show.
Also, Cheyene has one of the greatest booty's I've ever seen on a white women....Damn.

Great writing for handling the pronouns issue.
Red helps Ainsley with her training
Ainsley helps red with her bullies
Agreement for rules from both sides.
This is how it should be. 1 side doesn't get to make all of the rules and force the other side to adhere to them.
Also, nice how they handled the rape/response thing. 1 cop admits he would have shot the guy but has a problem with Cooper beating the guy unmercifully. But, other cops with common sense admitting they may have done the same thing. So, not ALL cops are dicks.
The cops luring Cooper into the conversation saying "they just want to go over what happened" then basically questioning him without even giving him the option of a lawyer is bullshite. "Only guilty people call lawyers? How about people who are unjustly tricked into an interrogation?
Billy Bob "my back is to you because you don't make any decisions here" . Put that dick of a cop in his place.
Angela crying like she lost her best friend because the kid is going off to college? I mean I kind of get it because I've been there. But, no one shed a tear when my kid went off to college. Like BBT said, it's pretty much what we do.
Tommy making a deal with the devil will obviously come back to bite him. The dream team oil company is going to have to deal with that at some point.
Loved the look on Cami's face when the lawyer turned in his resignation was priceless. Dumb bitch has no concept of loyalty.

Finale was the best episode of S2
I always felt like this was a bridge season and S3 is when it will really take off. It’s their biggest show and TS knows he has time to let it breathe.
My only two complaints is the lawyer and how she always has the perfect line and talks down to everyone. Straight out of an Aaron Sorkin show.
I’ve been in corporate America for 25 years and the president of the company is a big deal and those things take a long time to negotiate buyouts and stock options, etc.
They always leave with a package and have a non compete. They act like he’s just a free agent 24 hours later meeting with chevron and has no money. Most presidents of companies will never have to work again with the package they get to leave.
