please kill off Angela and Aynsley. They're useless.
Every scene they are in is unwatchable. Good episode other then the scenes they were in.

I guess I'm in the minority here as far as the daughter is concerned.
I don' mind most scenes she's in. Maybe it's because she's hot or maybe I just find a lot the scenes funny.
I found the admissions interview pretty funny. And I don't mind watching her prance around in the cheer uni .
The wife I can do without. She's annoying in every scene. she may rank high on the hot/crazy scale but, no man is putting up with that shite for long.
I mean can we eat the shite you just spent a bunch of money on? Or did you spend the money and effort on it just to throw it on the floor?
By the way, what happened to the hot lawyer?

But ... right before she takes the stage she somehow gets mind-fricked by a couple of gold-digging-thots in the bathroom
If you listen to what she told Tommy, when she came out of the bathroom. Those hoes gave her inspiration. She was struggling before that and they pissed her off.
Seemed pretty well done watching her before the reaction and after.
The mother and daughter need to stay in DFW and zoom Tommy once a week in bikinis by the pool.

That scene in the TCU admissions of was cringey bad but I strangely found it quite funny.

Can someone explain why TCU? IMO she’d be better off as a cheerleader at Texas Tech.
Seems to me the mother is looking for another man with money by wanting the house in Dallas.

Best thing for Billy Bob and the show in general.

I think she said she didn’t want Tech because they had rules against cheerleaders dating the athletes.

Glad I’m not the only one who wants the mom and daughter gone. I get that Billy Bob needs a side plot line outside of the oil business but shite they gotta recognize that same cycle with his wife is tiresome for viewers. Maybe the storyline with his pops will be worth a damn.

That was one of the bigger letdowns for a series I like that I can remember. Got to the end and thought oh well, maybe Episode 2 will be better. Only then did I realize that they're just releasing one episode per week.
The whole episode was just playful and silly. I figured Episode 1 would pick up with Billy Bob being kidnapped by the Mexican gangbangers, but instead we get a playful and silly scene of the daugther going off to college and then the wife making dinner.
I know that there was some of that in Season 1, but I wish they'd stick to the oil fields and the business of the oil industry.

Almost nobody is getting into UGA with a 29. That is the bare minimum and you have to be in the right low population county with very few applicants to even have a shot with a 29.

He is about to do the same thing in this show as he did with yellowstone with Ali/Beth. Over the top BS will ruin it. That dinner scene and the scene with the daughter at TCU was just way too much.
I hate it that this guy cant see that. I know everyone on here is pining over Ali but her character is getting annoying fast.

At this point i'd rather she be an over the hill stripper who doesn't talk.

I mean it was and the lady handled it amazingly. She was funny. But I cant believe we are supposed to think that is any way possible.
It was like a scene out of the movie, "Legally Blonde"

He’s basically printing money right now. They won’t change it until they lose viewers.

Just don’t go let them go to the nursing home again
The dinner scene was cringe. How may times did they say cycle? She does about 5k in damage and everyone’s just fine and they’re laughing.

why TCU
TCU is a private school and considered more highfalutin in Texas.
Plus they wanted to live in Ft Worst, the mom referred to the house in Midland as a frat house.

Based on the many times I’ve been to the TCU campus, the daughter would look like every other girl there. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel with rich kids from TX and SoCal
Dimes everywhere

Is it majority female like SMU?

It was just very unbelievable. Do any schools do in-person admissions interviews like that? Certainly not TCU. And the behavior from the admissions person was so predictable.
